LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: In the ever-entertaining world of late-night television, Jimmy Kimmel took a jab at Fox News host Tucker Carlson for his recent interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Kimmel, known for his sharp wit and humor, couldn't resist poking fun at Carlson's seemingly friendly encounter with one of the most controversial figures on the global stage.

Kimmel's comedy roast: Putin anticipated a feast but got a snack in Tucker Carlson's softball interview

Tucker Carlson made headlines when he traveled to Russia to interview Vladimir Putin, and the responses to the interview have been nothing short of amusing. Kimmel, in his characteristic style, highlighted the irony of Putin expecting "hard questions" from Carlson, only to find the Fox News host more of an appetizer than a challenging interviewer.

Kimmel quipped about Putin's expectation for a tough interview, saying, "Putin was expecting to eat Tucker for lunch, turned out he was more of an hors d'oeuvre—an amused douche, if you will."

The comedian didn't shy away from mocking Carlson's alleged ass-kissing over the years, suggesting they might have needed a Squeegee to keep things dry during the encounter.

Putin's takeaway: Disappointment in Carlson's softball questions and a surprising nod to Biden

Vladimir Putin's response to the interview added another layer of amusement. The Russian leader, often portrayed as a formidable anti-American figure, surprisingly expressed disappointment in Carlson's lack of hard-hitting questions.

Putin even shared his preference for Joe Biden over Donald Trump in the upcoming US presidential election, claiming Biden is more predictable.

Kimmel seized the opportunity to highlight the irony of Carlson's seemingly pro-Russian stance, joking, "Tucker Carlson, who's been kissing [Putin's] ass so long, they had to have a squeegee on hand to keep it dry."

Russia and cybersecurity concerns

Kimmel also took a dig at Carlson's reported statements regarding Russia's alleged desire to put a nuclear weapon in space. Mockingly referring to it as a "job for the Space Force," Kimmel suggested the intention was to target satellites controlling the internet.

The comedian couldn't resist injecting humor into a serious issue, joking that Russia would be hitting the US "right in the... porn."
