NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: During his Tuesday, May 7, interview with Fox News' Jesse Watters, Senator Lindsey Graham categorized Columbia University's pro-Palestinian protesters into two groups: "dumba***s" and "terrorist sympathizers."

This comes as the university announced its decision to cancel the upcoming primary graduation ceremony following weeks of protests on campus regarding the Israel-Gaza conflict, the BBC reported. The Ivy League institution stated that it would forgo the May 15 event in favor of smaller gatherings to focus on "keeping them safe."

When Watters inquired about what steps should be taken against the pro-Palestinian demonstrators, Graham noted, "I think the Department of Justice needs to investigate where the money is coming from. There are two classes of people here."

He stressed, "Antisemites, if you say, 'We are Hamas', and you mean it, you are a religious Nazi. If you say, 'We are Hamas', and you don’t know what it’s all about, you are dumba***s."

"So there are dumb people and terrorist sympathizers and how do you fix this when you win in November? Here’s what I can promise you, Donald Trump’s attorney general would be all over this, these college presidents would be under the gun to stop this c**p," added the senator.

Watters expressed, "Yeah, some of them are dumba***s, 'cause they can’t even spell Palestine. We saw that right there in red graffiti," parallelly displaying a photo of graffiti with a misspelled tag that read "Palastine."

The host then aired a clip of Senator John Fetterman slamming the supposed pro-Hamas protesters and said, "So Fetterman gets it but (Chuck) Schumer is quiet and Hillary (Clinton) is quiet, she’s a professor at Columbia, Barack Obama who went to Columbia hasn’t said a thing about what’s going on. Why are these Democrats so silent?"

Graham replied, "They are afraid of the Hamas wing of the Democratic party and Fetterman is not. They are not protesting to have a better life for Palestinians; they are protesting to make sure we kill all the Jews. Guess what? Israel is not going to go down without a fight."

This is not the first instance where Graham has been vocal about his support from Israel.

In October 2023, he told CNN that he wouldn't question Israel's bombing campaign in Gaza, even with the significant number of civilian casualties, which have reached over 35,000 deaths, including 14,000 children, as per Mediaite

Internet slams Lindsey Graham over his take on pro-Palestinian protesters

One said, "Pretty sure he said the same thing about the people protesting Iraq," and another added, "This is so unfair and actually evil for him to say."

"He’s a truly awful person," expressed an individual.

After Fox News uploaded the video of the interview on YouTube, a viewer declared, "Fox has lost credibility by putting war loving LINDSEY ON. Close the border so we don't have to fight them here, LINDSEY."

Another labeled him "two face Graham," and one more named the South Carolina lawmaker "warmongering Lindsey."
