MANHATTAN, NEW YORK CITY: On April 9 episode of 'The View', Whoopi Goldberg sparked some awkward laughter when she remarked that Senator Lindsey Graham "has been on his knees" for former President Donald Trump.

The audience's reaction prompted Goldberg to shake her head and offer clarification.

Whoopi Goldberg comments on Lindsey Graham's loyalty to Trump

During the discussion of the day's Hot Topics, the panel delved into Donald Trump's recent stance on abortion, where he deferred decisions on abortion rights to individual states.

This move garnered criticism from numerous conservatives, including Graham and former Vice President Mike Pence. Goldberg expressed surprise at Graham's stance.

Their conversation delved into personal convictions regarding abortion, with Alyssa Farah Griffin stating, "I have my personal convictions about abortion. I don't believe I would personally get one."

However, Griffin also emphasized the need for Democrats to address a diverse range of issues beyond abortion, saying, "Democrats can't make it the only thing they're running on."

However, her choice of words immediately elicited pointed looks from her co-hosts, with Griffin noticeably taking a sip from her mug.

"At the temple of this man," she continued, "It did not start out that way! And many of them have done that, they've all sort of fallen to their knees and they've been worshipping him."

Meanwhile, Farah Griffin expressed less surprise at conservatives speaking out against Trump for this and more surprise at Trump recognizing that abortion is a significant issue for many in this election.
