LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Fox News host Jesse Watters has made a bold promise to his viewers: if President Joe Biden emerges victorious in the November election, he will acknowledge Biden's win on air, provided there is no evidence of election interference or fraud.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter to discuss his bestselling book, 'Get It Together,' Watters addressed the question of how he would handle assertions that the election was "rigged" if Biden wins.

Jesse Watters stresses need for evidence

Watters emphasized the importance of evidence, stating, "I would have to see evidence if there are any shenanigans."

He added that if the election is conducted without any irregularities, he would accept the result, saying, "fair is fair."

"If there were shenanigans, yeah, absolutely, but if there are no shenanigans then fair is fair."

"If Biden wins fair and square I’ll tell my viewers he won fair and square," Watters affirmed.

This commitment comes in the wake of Fox News settling a $780 million lawsuit with Dominion Voting Systems over false claims about the 2020 election and voting machines.

These claims, which were promoted by former President Trump and his supporters, fueled the conspiracy theory that the election was stolen.

Watters embroiled in gag order controversy

According to Mediaite, Watters recently found himself in the spotlight due to his involvement in a gag order violation related to Trump's hush money trial in Manhattan.

Trump cited Watters in a post on Truth Social, a platform he launched following his ban from mainstream social media. However, the ruling on whether Trump violated the gag order has not yet been made by Judge Juan Merchan.

Watters said in his The Hollywood Reporter interview that the former president "occasionally" calls him. "He’s very flattering like all politicians are. It's usually small talk," Watters shared.

Internet criticizes Jesse Watters

Amid Jesse Watters' pledge to acknowledge a fair election outcome, people online sharply criticize his stance, questioning his credibility and motives in the light of ongoing controversies and skepticism surrounding electoral integrity.

One user said, "As if he has any choice. Fox News owners will remind him of 787 million dollar reasons why he shall say who truly wins the election."

Another user added, "The Smartmatic case is still pending. That MUST be what you meant."

One user replied, "Jesse Watters said he'll need to see "evidence" of no "shenanigans"..."So he wants proof of nothing occurring. Cementing his status as the dumbest guy on cable TV."

Another said, "This is common among magamorons. They pretend they’re open minded to proof the election was legit. They don’t understand how anything works."

One commented, "Biden won the last election fair and square. Has Watters told his viewers?"

One replied, ""Fair and square." That's the part they won't admit. He'll never say it because they'll say Biden cheated no matter what anyway."
