Scott Jennings shut down by Anderson Cooper

Scott Jennings criticized Kamala Harris-Tim Walz's ticket for being big on mood and tone but short on policy while Anderson Cooper didn’t intervene.

However, when he tried to make a statement that GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump is far more specific and detailed considering policy, Cooper jumped in.

"They want you to vote for a ticket based on absolutely no concrete idea about what they would do once they get in office…. Tonight, you did hear people say: Well, we may not agree with (Walz) on everything, but at least it will be joyful as they tax us into oblivion," argued Jennings.

He added Democrats are running "an entire presidential campaign" on "the idea of vote for me to find out what's in it.'"

To which Cooper responded, "Scott, your candidate has done that his entire political career. I mean, Donald Trump does not talk about any policy issue."

Jennings disagreed, "Sure he does," reports AlterNet.

Cooper then mocked Trump saying, “Yeah, he's going to lower inflation. He's going to eliminate inflation on Day 1. He's going to take away Obamacare on Day 1…. There is no flesh on the bone of anything he's talked about."
