Anderson Cooper loses cool after Charlamagne tha God calls him out on his own show
WASHINGTON, DC: Media figures Charlamagne tha God and CNN's Anderson Cooper engaged in a public disagreement during a broadcast, discussing the network's portrayal of presidential candidate Kamala Harris.
Charlamagne sat with Cooper on CNN to discuss the host's town hall with Harris, which took place on the night of Wednesday, October 23.
In their discussion, Cooper questioned 'The Breakfast Club' host about Harris' authenticity, inquiring why she hadn't displayed "personality" by appearing on platforms like Joe Rogan's show.
Charlamagne: I feel like I heard more on this network about “is Kamala Harris Black” than I do about Trump being a fascist

Charlamagne tha God urges Americans to focus on Donald Trump's rhetoric
Rather than advising Kamala Harris, Charlamagne tha God urged Americans to pay close attention to the rhetoric of former president and Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, as reported by The Mirror.
“Americans need to keep looking at the rhetoric of Donald Trump because I don't know why we're even thinking about electing somebody who is talking about putting people in camps,” Charlamagne remarked.
He countered Cooper's insistence that CNN focused on significant discussions by arguing that the network was overly concerned with Harris' ethnicity.
In response to that claim, Cooper interjected, saying, “Honestly, that’s b******t, I’m sorry.”
Cooper continued, stating “I’m a huge fan of yours, but to say that we’re sitting around discussing, is Kamala Harris black like –” before Charlamagne interrupted him.
“I’ve seen those roundtable discussions a lot. Now that’s b******t, Cooper, for you to say that y’all don’t have those conversations,” Charlamagne said.
Charlamagne tha God challenges Anderson Cooper on CNN’s focus
During the roundtable discussion with Charlamagne tha God and Anderson Cooper, political commentator Angela Rye agreed with the author of 'Black Privilege' about the unnecessary racial discussions surrounding Kamala Harris occurring on CNN.
"I don’t believe any anchor on this network has been asking, 'Is she Black?'" Cooper defended his viewpoint. Charlamagne, standing his ground, responded, "I think no network has had honest discussions about Donald Trump since 2016."
He further added, “We talk about him like a threat to democracy but we don't treat him like one."
He then asserted that no one had been "honest" about Trump's positions regarding Hillary Clinton or Joe Biden. In response, Cooper brought up his discussion of John Kelly's claims that Trump admired Hitler, a statement the politician has vehemently denied.
“I 100% think enough people have not heard his rhetoric,” Charlamagne responded.
Angela recognized that both Cooper and Charlamagne presented strong arguments, but she urged Cooper to take a firmer stance against falsehoods, particularly the assertion that Harris is not of Black descent.
Internet calls Anderson Cooper a 'clown'
As soon as the video of Anderson Cooper and Charlamagne tha God went viral on platform X, user reactions started pouring in.
A user wrote opposing Cooper, "I'm pretty sure Charlemagne is absolutely correct." [sic]
Another added, "So Anderson Cooper can’t be called out for his unreasonable behavior? For normalizing Trump and having a different set of standards for Kamala Harris? Maybe he can shut up and learn from the experience instead."
