In 2022, Rogan remarked, "I’m not a Trump supporter in any way, shape, or form."

He added, "I’ve had the opportunity to have him on my show more than once, I’ve said no every time. I don’t want to help him, I’m not interested in helping him."

In August, Trump criticized Rogan after the podcaster stated that politicians, except for Robert F Kennedy Jr, are manipulative.

Trump responded with a social media post, saying, "It will be interesting to see how loudly Joe Rogan gets BOOED the next time he enters the UFC Ring??? MAGA2024."

Donald Trump's approach to reaching younger voters

Donald Trump has made efforts to appeal to younger voters, particularly men, by appearing on popular podcasts.

Recently, he has participated in interviews with podcasters like 'Adin Ross', the 'Lex Fridman Podcast', and Theo Von’s 'This Past Weekend'.

Trump also appeared on the 'Six Feet Under' podcast hosted by wrestler Mark Calaway, known as The Undertaker.

In contrast, Trump has avoided traditional media outlets. He notably backed out of a '60 Minutes' interview in September, reportedly due to concerns about the show’s rigorous fact-checking process.

Trump and Rogan have also shared cordial interactions such as their exchanges at UFC events.

Additionally, they have common allies, including RFK Jr, who endorsed Trump after suspending his presidential campaign, and tech billionaire Elon Musk.
