Angel Reese draws flak for twerking in viral video from Unrivaled camp: 'Not classy at all'
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS: Angel Reese is facing immense criticism from social media users who found one of her recent acts to be “gross.”
The Chicago Sky star is currently readying herself for the inaugural season of Unrivaled, which will be a new three-on-three women's basketball league taking place in the WNBA offseason.
However, over the weekend, a behind-the-scene video from Unrivaled camp has gone viral on social media, where Reese can be seen twerking. The particular act did not sit well with several social media users who called her out for her "gimmicks".

Angel Reese shows how to twerk in viral video
In the video posted by her former Chicago teammate Marina Mabrey, Angel Reese, 22, could be seen joking around with other WNBA stars, reported Daily Mail.
The 22-year-old basketball star was captured twerking playfully as she was joined by Las Vegas Aces star Chelsea Gray.

The video was shared by Reese’s former teammate Mabrey, who went to the Connecticut Sun in July.
This video comes almost a year after Reese opened up about being “sexualized," acording to Scripp News.
At the end of her college career in LSU in early 2024, Reese said in an interview, "I don't really get to stand up for myself. I mean, I have great teammates. I have a great support system. I've got my hometown. I've got my family that stands up for me. I don't really get to speak out on things because I just ignore. I just try to stand strong.”
She continued, "I've been through so much. I've seen so much. I've been attacked so many times, death threats, I've been sexualized, I've been threatened, I've been so many things, and I've stood strong every single time."
Angel Reese's 'gross' video doesn't impress her fans
Social media users were not happy with Angel Reese's viral twerking video as they slammed her for not being a good role model for young girls.
"Gross," one user commented on TikTok.
Another social media user sarcastically wrote on X, "Great role model for young black girls… 🤦♂️."
Another noted, "Anything to get ratings I guess! 💩."
