Anna Cardwell funeral: Mama June reveals public services plans days after reality star's death at 29
GORDON, GEORGIA: Reality TV star ‘Mama June’ Shannon has revealed that the funeral service will be taking place on December 13, for her daughter Anna 'Chickadee' Cardwell, who died tragically from cancer.
Per RadarOnline, Shannon revealed that viewing is organized between 2 to 3 pm on December 13, followed by the services at Williams Funeral Home in Gordon, Georgia, RadarOnline.com has learned.
The heartbroken mother shared, "So I wanted to let y’all know what the arrangements were for Anna it will be at White Columns in Gordon. The visitation will be between 2~3 pm with the services following afterwards we want y’all to come and join us if you can because Anna would not want it to be any other way."

She also campaigned for taking Cardwell's Instagram following to one million saying, "Also, let’s get her Instagram to 1 million before Wednesday and along with her TikTok it is tagged in my video over there."
"We love you guys. We appreciate everyone that has sent well wishes they have sent their prayers and everything for not just us before her kids. @annamarie35," she concluded.
Cardwell, Shannon’s oldest daughter was diagnosed with stage four adrenal carcinoma at the beginning of 2023. Following an arduous battle of ten months, she breathed her last on December 9.
The outlet further reveals that Shannon’s sister, Jo Shannon shared that the services are open to anyone who "would like to come and say goodbye” to the mother-of-two.
Jo added that their bereaved family only asks for respect "as this is a lot for her girls and us." Cardwell, who died aged 29, is survived by her two young daughters, Kaitlyn (born 2012) and Kylee (born 2015).
Mama June announces the death of Anna Cardwell
Shannon took to her Instagram to announce the death of Cardwell on Sunday. She wrote, “With the breaking heart, we are announcing that @annamarie35 is no longer with us. She passed away in my home last night peacefully at 11:12 PM.”
Noting, “She gave one hell of a fight for 10 months she passed away with her family around her like she won’t and we will will be updating y’all with more information as we get it today.”
Apart from Cardwell, the TLC star of the 'Toddlers & Tiaras' series, Mama June Shannon is also the mother of three daughters, Alana Frances "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson, Lauryn "Pumpkin" Efird, and Jessica "Chubbs" Shannon.

'It’s so quiet in here'
The reality star also shared how empty they are feeling after Cardwell's death. Shannon said to her followers on TikTok, “I know a look a hot mess, but my mind is so emotionally and mentally mindf---ed right now,” per PEOPLE.
Shannon added, “It’s so quiet in here, the machines aren’t running,” before continuing, “She’s not sitting in here watching cooking shows and it’s just so quiet. The chair that she was in, you know, nobody is sitting in it right now because it has a blanket and a pillow that she used and that’s where she passed away at.”
Referring to their favorite dance moves of Bob’s Burgers character Tina Belcher, Shannon said, “We’re doing something for her which is going to be the Tina dance with her as one of her last things."
She also said, “As ya’ll know, that bitch loved to do the Tina dance for ya’ll on the couch — no, sorry, on the bed. So many times, ya’ll loved that. And when she actually was down and about, she couldn’t do it any more after chemo, ya’ll missed that.”
