WASHINGTON, DC: Representative Anna Paulina Luna on Friday, May 22, praised outgoing Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, asserting that "she really did lead the charge on declassification" after Gabbard announced her sudden resignation.

Gabbard will officially step down from her post on June 30, 2026, shifting her focus entirely toward supporting her husband following a rare bone cancer diagnosis.

Luna praises Gabbard's declassification work

Florida Representative Anna Paulina Luna quickly took to social media to highlight Tulsi Gabbard’s structural impact on government transparency.

Luna stated that Gabbard should be remembered for successfully unlocking secret government archives that previous administration officials kept hidden from the public for decades.

"Thank you, Tulsi, for your commitment to this country and your family," Luna wrote.

Luna specifically noted that Gabbard delivered on files regarding MLK, RFK, JFK, and UAPs at the direction of the President, adding that her profound contributions to national transparency should not be "overlooked" by Washington.

Luna also offered her personal support during this difficult time for the family, stating, "Our family will be praying for yours as you are going through this."

She finished her statement by saying, "Thank you for your continued service to our nation."

Luna praised Gabbard's stance against corrupt agencies

Furthermore, in another post, Luna also focused on how Gabbard challenged political bias within federal intelligence agencies.

Gabbard frequently fought against deep-state corruption, and Luna explained that Gabbard found proof that intelligence officials targeted President Trump.

"Do NOT forget Tulsi exposed and found evidence of the Russia collusion hoax waged against POTUS by corrupt members of intel," Luna stated.

She further stated that Gabbard made other critical discoveries during her time in office, asserting, "She ALSO exposed Ukraine funds being laundered back to Biden’s election."

Gabbard resigns to support husband suffering from cancer

It is to be noted that Gabbard has made it clear that she is leaving her high-level government job purely for family reasons.

In her resignation, she expressed gratitude for the trust placed in her to lead the intelligence community for the last year and a half.

"Unfortunately, I must submit my resignation, effective June 30, 2026," Gabbard wrote.

She shared that her husband, Abraham, was recently diagnosed with an extremely rare form of bone cancer and faces major challenges ahead.

"At this time, I must step away from public service to be by his side and fully support him through this battle," Gabbard explained.
