NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: The recent testimony before the House subcommittee hearing has shed new light on the role of Dr Anthony Fauci and his agency in the Covid-19 pandemic. Jesse Watters aptly put it, "America now knows Fauci funded gain-of-function research at the Wuhan lab."

As per CNN, Fauci the former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), testified on June 3 at a House subcommittee hearing about the US response to the Covid-19 pandemic and the origins of the virus.

As per The New York Times, Dr Fauci said during his testimony, “It is inconceivable that anyone who reads this email could conclude that I was trying to cover up the possibility of a laboratory leak."

Watters' monologue on Fox News' 'Primetime' segment highlighted the key points of this testimony.

"Well today science was under oath," began Watters.

He further said, "America now knows Fauci funded gain-of-function at the Wuhan lab. We trained Bat Lady, the sloppy lab leaked, and Fauci covered it up and shut the country down. Gain-of-function is a risky method used to help pharmaceutical companies come up with vaccines ahead of time. And we now know Fauci gets royalties from vaccines."

As per the host, the gain-of-function research, which involves enhancing the transmissibility and lethality of viruses, has been linked to the Covid-19 pandemic.

"We also now know, thanks to a whistleblower, Fauci's intelligence handlers were using the Wuhan lab as a window into Chinese bioweapons research. Fauci, under oath, denied it all," he added.

Furthermore, Watters points out, "Not even the New York Times is buying Fauci's lies."

"Here's a headline just from this morning. 'Why the pandemic probably started in a lab'. Now, if you said that four years ago, the Times would have called you a kook," he added.

Watters noted that Dr David Morens, Dr Fauci's associate, has been accused of misspelling words in emails to avoid subpoena and using personal email accounts to circumvent records requests.

"Morens even confessed that he and Fauci used personal email accounts to get around records requests. Fauci told Congress, 'That's not true. And that Morens guy, barely know him'," Watters stated.

The host also mentioned that Fauci's financial interests in the vaccine industry have come under scrutiny as "his scientists made nearly a billion dollars in royalties from pharmaceutical companies during the pandemic", and Fauci himself has been accused of "lying" about the effectiveness of the vaccine.

Internet supports Jesse Watters' remarks about Dr Fauci

Watters' comments on Dr Fauci lying about the effectiveness of vaccines and the origin of the virus have garnered widespread support.
