Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater make rare public appearance during dine-out as they keep romance private

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater are maintaining their privacy when it comes to their romance. However, the stars of the upcoming 'Wicked' made a rare public appearance when they decided to enjoy a dine-out.

Ariana also spent time with her father, Ed Butera, and enjoyed some quality moments with him before joining Slater at Spamalot.

All-black look for Ariana and Slater!

For the outing, the 30-year-old opted for an all-black ensemble, featuring a furry bucket hat, mini skirt, and a black top with furry cuffs. Slater sported an athletic look with a zip-up, joggers, and running shoes.

"They love to support each other in their work. When she’s done with work, Ariana loves going to the theater when she can,” said a source to People.

A few weeks ago, Grande shared several pictures on Instagram, including one that featured a Spam can ornament hanging on a wall Christmas tree crafted from green garland.

Grande and Slater share a common love for musical theater. The 31-year-old made his Broadway debut in 2017, as the title character in the ‘SpongeBob SquarePants: The Broadway Musical.’

On the flip side, Grande initiated her Broadway career with her first major credit in Jason Robert Brown's short-lived 2008 musical, '13.'

The couple keeps their romance private

After their bombshell romance came to the public, the pair tried to avoid unnecessary attention. “They are just trying to navigate their new relationship in private," claimed an insider.

In September, a source said, “While this entire situation has been blown out of proportion, it’s much different than what has been portrayed in public,”

"They are just trying to navigate their new relationship in private,” the source added.

“The truth is, Ariana and Ethan didn’t begin seeing each other until after both parties were separated, respectfully,” the source said.

One more source claimed, “They are doing their best to balance the fact that they are in the public eye with the desire to be respectful to all parties involved.

According to reports, the new couple's relationship became public knowledge in July. This coincided with Grande's separation from her husband, Dalton Gomez, and Slater's separation from his wife, Lilly Jay.

Grande and Gomez, 28, finalized their divorce in October after two years of marriage.

Ariana and Slater have not made a red carpet appearance as a couple yet.
