NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Aubrey O’Day has made it clear she will not be taking the witness stand in the ongoing trial against Sean "Diddy" Combs.
The singer and reality star addressed the speculation on the iHeartRadio podcast, 'Amy Robach & TJ Holmes Present: Aubrey O’Day, Covering the Diddy Trial'.

Aubrey O’Day shared that although officials from Homeland Security had contacted her, she is not part of the trial proceedings.
“No, I'm not here to testify for the Diddy trial, that I know of,” said O’Day to TJ Holmes and Amy Robach during the podcast.
She continued, “I was contacted by Homeland Security and did have a meeting with Homeland Security," People reported.
To clarify rumors, she said she posted on social media to clear the air. “I posted on my Instagram that I was here in New York and enjoying myself because I wanted to make it clear to everyone that I am not here testifying,” O'Day said.

Earlier in the week, reports indicated that the former Danity Kane member had made her way to New York to testify, with a source telling Us Weekly that she was expected to take the stand either later "this week or early next week".
“It’s nerve-wracking, but she’s ready. She’s not going to back down. She wants justice for everyone,” the insider told the outlet.
The source also revealed that O’Day had a related project in development connected to Diddy's trial.
O’Day herself fueled the rumors when she posted a video of the New York City skyline to her Instagram Stories, writing, “Hey New York!!! Where y’all think I should head first?” alongside a justice scale emoji.
Aubrey O’Day praises Cassie Ventura’s testimony
On the premiere episode of her podcast, Aubrey O’Day spoke about Cassie Ventura’s testimony against Sean "Diddy" Combs.
Ventura, who dated the music mogul from 2007 to 2018, testified for four days, detailing alleged abuse during their relationship.

“It feels very honest. It feels very open, vulnerable, horrific,” O’Day said. “It’s horrific that she had to go through go through so much.”
O’Day rose to fame on MTV’s 'Making the Band 3' in 2005, which was created by Diddy. She later joined the girl group Danity Kane under his Bad Boy Records.
In 2008, Combs announced during 'Making the Band 4’s finale that O’Day had been removed from the group.
