Ayesha Curry reveals she's noticing differences during what she says will be her 'last pregnancy'

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ayesha Curry is pregnant and is expecting her fourth baby with husband Stephen Curry.

On Friday, March 1, the cookbook author took to Instagram to announce the news of her expecting her fourth child with her NBA star by posting a belly-baring shot from the cover of her skincare line Sweet July Skin's publication, Sweet July Magazine for their inaugural digital issue.

Ayesha and Stephan, who were high school sweethearts, have been married since 2011. The couple shares three children, Riley, 11, Ryan, eight, and Cannon, five.

Speaking about her decision to have a fourth child, Ayesha said in the interview for Sweet July Magazine's "Village Issue," that although she and her husband "thought we were done" after welcoming their third child, they decided in 2023 that they wanted a fourth.

"For me, the decision came from always finding myself looking around and feeling like somebody was missing. I would load up the car and think, 'Oh, I forgot something.' But nobody was forgotten," she wrote.

"It started to turn my brain a little bit. Maybe somebody was missing. So we set out on this journey, knowing that this would complete our family," Ayesh added.

The mother-of-three reflected on the unique experience of her fourth pregnancy, noting the differences compared to her previous three.

Managing her older children, the family, and her various ventures made the multi-hyphenate entrepreneur realize how she was "tremendously busy in ways I wasn't before."

"I'm also realizing how quickly time has gone by with our first three children, who are now self-sufficient and don't need as much from us," she said.

"Getting to experience this through his eyes and through Ryan and Riley's eyes has been so cool. They're at such different ages and stages in life," she further added.

"Their perspectives are so different and it's been the most exciting thing," she continued.

Ayesha said her fourth pregnancy will be her "last pregnancy." She noted the differences she had noticed with her fourth pregnancy as she now understands how "this really does pass by in the blink of an eye," encouraging her to "slow down and take in every single little thing."

"But one of the biggest differences is a new understanding that this really does pass by in the blink of an eye. And in the blink of an eye, it could also all be taken away," she said.

"That’s encouraged me to slow down and take in every single little thing—especially with it being my last pregnancy," Ayesha added.
