‘Baby Driver’ actor Hudson Joseph Meek laid to rest after tragic road accident at 16
HOMEWOOD, ALABAMA: Actor Hudson Joseph Meek, 16, was laid to rest on Saturday, December 28, after his tragic death last week, reported the New York Post.
Most popularly known for portraying the younger version of the protagonist in the 2017 action flick 'Baby Driver', Meek's death was caused by a tragic car accident where he was ejected from a moving vehicle.
A Celebration of Life service for Meek was held at Dawson Memorial Baptist Church in Homewood, and it was livestreamed on his Instagram page. The ceremony was attended by his family and friends, many of whom spoke at the podium and shared their fondest memories of the teenager.

Hudson Joseph Meek's tragic death
Hudson Joseph Meek received blunt force trauma after falling off a moving vehicle in Vestavia Hills at 10.45 pm on December 19, Thursday, according to the Jefferson County Coroner's Office, reported the Daily Mail.
He was taken to the UAB Hospital in Birmingham but succumbed to his injuries within 48 hours on December 21, shared the coroner. While law enforcement investigated the circumstances surrounding the death of the teenager, no foul play has been suspected.
Shortly after Meek's death, his mother Lani Wells Meek posted on Facebook, "Our hearts are broken to share that Hudson Meek went home to be with Jesus tonight. His 16 years on this earth were far too short, but he accomplished so much and significantly impacted everyone he met."
Meek's family created the Hudson J Meek Memorial Scholarship in the wake of his untimely death, which would support a Vestavia Hills High School student each year.
Besides 'Baby Driver', Meek also appeared in 'MacGyver', 'Found', 'Legacies' and 'The Santa Con'.
