VESTAVIA HILLS, ALABAMA: The death of Hudson Meek, the teenage actor known for his role in 'Baby Driver', is being treated as an accident, with authorities confirming that no substances played a role in his fatal fall from a moving car.

Meek tragically died on Saturday, December 21, just days after falling from a moving vehicle on the night of Thursday, December 19. Rushed to the hospital, he succumbed to his injuries less than 48 hours later, leaving fans and loved ones devastated by the loss of the 16-year-old actor.

According to sources who spoke with TMZ, law enforcement confirmed that there was no suspicion of foul play in Meek's death, and they are treating it as an accident. Additionally, authorities reported that there were no signs of drugs or alcohol involved, and they do not believe these substances contributed to the incident.

Meek, known for his roles in 'Baby Driver', 'MacGyver', 'Found', 'The School Duel', '90 Minutes in Heaven', 'Badanamu Stories' among others, was admired for his talent across various projects.

In the wake of his death, tributes have poured in for the young actor. His mother, Lani Wells, shared a heartfelt message on Facebook, writing, "His 16 years on this earth were far too short, but he accomplished so much and significantly impacted everyone he met. Hudson Meek’s obituary describes teen as an ‘accomplished actor’

According to an obituary, Hudson Meek was an "accomplished actor", with several projects he worked on as a teenager set to be released in 2025.

The obituary noted, "He worked on several major motion pictures and television shows, some of which will be released in 2025. He absolutely loved spending time on set and having the chance to learn the names and stories of every member of the cast and crew."

The tribute went on to highlight Meek's unique personality, describing him as "confident, convicted in his beliefs, spontaneous, and quick-witted. He never let the facts get in the way of a funny story, and he loved friendly banter. He was a prankster, loved a good joke, and was happiest when he was making others laugh."

The obituary also praised his love for meeting new people, calling him a "vibrant and dynamic person who lived life to the fullest."

It further honored his life, stating, “Hudson was reflective and thoughtful, yet displayed undeniable determination once he set a goal, evident from becoming a certified open water scuba diver at just 13, and quickly advancing to earn an open water certification later that year."

It continued, "He had an illustrious journey, having visited every single US state with aspirations of adventuring across all seven continents. He loved snow-skiing and could easily navigate the hardest trails that no one else in the family would dare attempt. One of his favourite places to be was at the lake, tubing and wakeboarding."

The obituary also highlighted some of his more relaxed achievements, noting, "Some of the less active achievements he was proud of included video games and binge-watching every single episode of all 36 seasons of The Simpsons and a variety of other shows, many of which were viewed without his parents' knowledge and probably weren't appropriate for whatever age he was when he watched them."
