Kelly Rowland mocked after reportedly canceling 'Today' guest hosting gig over dressing room dispute
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kelly Rowland has been called out online after a report said that she ditched being the guest host of the 'Today’ show at the last minute because she was not happy with the dressing room.
According to Page Six, the 43-year-old actress made an appearance as a guest on the 8 am hour of 'Today' on Thursday, February 15th.
Additionally, she was scheduled to guest host 'Today with Hoda & Jenna' alongside Hoda Kotb. However, just before filming, she reportedly decided to quit.

The publication citing a source, reported, “Kelly and her team were not happy. They did not like the dressing room, so they decided to pull her off the show, leaving [Kotb] without a guest host for the 10 am hour.”
The insider continued, “She’s beloved at ‘Today.’ She was getting the full hour, and Hoda was the biggest hype woman on the planet! It made no sense.”
It has been said that the team of ‘Today’ and Kotb tried everything to retain Rowland but it failed.
“They didn’t want that. [The show] basically offered up as much as possible, but they weren’t happy with it, so they walked and they left,” the source added.

However, Rita Ora saved the day as a tipster told People, “Kelly walked out because she and her team didn't like her dressing room.”
“Rita Ora agreed to fill in at the last minute. Many people at the show, inside and outside of the show, were impressed with how great she was,” they added.
As per reports, ‘Today’ dressing rooms have always been infamous for being “glorified closets.” A mole told Page Six, “They’re not nice. It’s the oldest building. There are major space limitations, [it’s] not glamorous.”
They further asserted, “It’s not fresh flowers, and candles, and gourmet food. It’s basically [a] white box.”

Meanwhile, a lot of people online blasted ‘The Curse of Bridge Hollow’ star for abruptly leaving the ‘Today’ show.
A user on Facebook wrote, “She feels a certain way that is ok but will get her a bad attitude and people will not want to do business with her.”

One more user shared, “It’s a dressing room! Not an apartment! Ego out of control.”
Another one stated, “Bad career move for Kelly Rowland.”
One user added, “That is incredibly unprofessional and narcissistic. Who the hell does she think she is? I hope she left to go get acting lessons because her acting is terrible, unbelievable, and wooden!"
The user further added, "And her singing is mediocre at best. To walk off a commitment for such a disgusting, self-privileged reason and leave people hanging shows her lack of character, integrity, and total lack of professionalism. People have no respect or tolerance for such actions!”
