Barbra Streisand says Gene Hackman ‘left an amazing legacy’ as she honors her ‘All Night Long’ co-star

SANTA FE, NEW MEXICO: Barbra Streisand is mourning the death of veteran actor Gene Hackman, after the Oscar winner was found dead in his Santa Fe, New Mexico, home on Wednesday, February 26.
In a tragic incident, Hackman, his 64-year-old wife Betsy Arakawa, and one of their dogs, were found dead in their New Mexico home.
Joining the Hollywood brigade in paying tribute to the actor known for his award-winning roles in ‘The French Connection’ and ‘Unforgiven’, Streisand remembered her ‘All Night Long’ co-star through a heartfelt Instagram post, as reported by Daily Mail.

Barbra Streisand pays tribute to 'incredible actor' Gene Hackman
Barbra Streisand, 82, who shared the screen with Gene Hackman in the 1981 romantic comedy ‘All Night Long,’ took to her Instagram recently to remember her co-star.
Sharing a still image from their film, Streisand wrote, “Gene Hackman was an incredible actor. He lived a long life and left an amazing legacy. May he rest in peace.”

On Wednesday, reports emerged that the Oscar-winning actor was found dead in his Santa Fe ranch-style home along with his classical pianist wife and one of the couple’s dogs.
As reported by BBC, the couple have been dead for “quite a while” when the authorities discovered their bodies on Wednesday afternoon.
Though no signs of injury were reported, the authorities deemed the deaths "suspicious enough" to investigate and have not ruled out foul play. The outlet reported that no cause of death has yet been given.

Apart from Barbra Streisand, several Hollywood A-listers, including Antonio Banderas, Viola Davis, and others also remembered the Oscar winner after his tragic death.
Taking to his social media, Banderas wrote, "Gene Hackman and his wife Betsy Arakawa have passed away. My deepest condolences to friends, family and cinema lovers. RIP."
