Barron Trump moves into White House for sophomore year after mysterious break: Report

MANHATTAN, NEW YORK: After weeks of speculation about Barron Trump’s whereabouts, the first son has reportedly moved into the White House.
The 19-year-old, beginning his sophomore year this fall, appears to have made a surprising shift, choosing to live closer to his parents, President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump.

Is Barron Trump moving into the White House?
Barron Trump, the youngest son of President Trump, is currently living at the White House while attending classes through New York University’s Washington, DC, campus, sources told the New York Post.
According to NYU’s official website, the DC Academic Center hosts up to 120 students each semester and offers opportunities for focused study in fields such as politics, journalism, history, public policy, environmental studies, and economics.

During his freshman year, Barron chose to live at Trump Tower in Manhattan and frequently traveled to Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach to spend time with his father. A security officer at NYU’s main campus told People magazine, “From what I was told, he’s doing a semester at another NYU campus.”
In addition to his studies, Barron is reportedly exploring business opportunities. One insider claimed the 19-year-old has been “actively working on his own financial interests” and has met with individuals tied to potential ventures.
His summer break was said to be split between social gatherings, beach trips, and family time. The source added that Barron spent a “great deal of time” with his family over the break.
Barron Trump's alleged move to the White House comes after Melania's embrace of AI
Barron Trump’s reported move to the White House comes shortly after first lady Melania Trump’s public embrace of artificial intelligence during a recent White House Task Force on AI Education. Although no official confirmation has been made regarding Barron’s relocation, speculation grew following the session where Education Secretary Linda McMahon joked that her son might be assisting her with AI-related tasks.
McMahon said to Melania, "I bet that Barron is helping you with a little bit of this as well and maybe charging you a little bit with that. I would think so.” Melania nodded in agreement. Trump has also suggested that Barron might pursue a more modern career path. In a March Fox News interview with Laura Ingraham, the president described his youngest son as a tech enthusiast.

“Is Barron’s aptitude in your view business or politics?” Ingraham asked. The president shared, "Maybe technology. He can look at a computer... I turn off his laptop, I said, ‘Oh good,’ and I go back about five minutes later, he’s got his laptop, I say, ‘How do you do that?’”
In a 2024 interview with Fox News, Melania revealed that it was Barron’s own choice to study in New York City. “It was his decision to come here, that he wants to be in New York and study in New York and live in his home, and I respect that,” she said.
Barron has also reportedly played a role in helping his father understand cryptocurrency, a skill that aligns with the family’s planned venture, World Liberty Financial.
