WASHINGTON, DC: Barron Trump, the youngest son of President Donald Trump, is settling into college life in Manhattan with a noticeably more relaxed and independent vibe.

Barron, who is a 19-year-old freshman at NYU’s Stern School of Business, has shed the polished image seen during his father’s inauguration days. Recent photos show him embracing a casual style, complete with laid-back attire and a shaggy hairstyle.

Despite being under Secret Service protection and commuting from Trump Tower, sources said that the teen son is making an effort to experience student life like any other college freshman.

Exclusive photos obtained by the Daily Mail captured Barron Trump embracing a laid-back campus style, dressed in a loose-fitting sweater layered over a polo shirt, paired with jeans and classic Adidas sneakers—a far cry from the formal look he once sported during his father’s presidency.

As he settles into life at NYU’s prestigious Stern School of Business, the 19-year-old appears to be filling out physically, reflecting the natural changes of growing older and adjusting to student life.

That physical transformation mirrors that of his father, Donald Trump, who also bulked up over the years before reportedly shedding 30 pounds during his post-presidency.

While Barron may blend in with his classmates as he studies the intricacies of business, he’s never entirely out of the spotlight.

The presence of his ever-watchful Secret Service detail is a constant reminder of his high-profile background.

Still, despite being one of the most recognizable faces on campus, most fellow students seem unfazed, passing him by with little more than a glance as they rush to their next class.

Mixed reports about Barron Trump's college life

There are mixed reports about how well Barron Trump is adjusting to college life—perhaps unsurprising for someone who’s been in the public eye since birth.

Some sources paint a picture of a confident and charismatic young man. One insider told People magazine, “He’s a ladies man for sure. He’s really popular with the ladies. He’s tall and handsome. A lot of people seem to think he’s pretty attractive – yes, even liberal people like him.”

Others describe him as having an old-soul demeanor, noting that he’s “smart, well-spoken, well-read,” and shaped by life experiences far beyond his years. “He knows who he is,” said one source.

However, other accounts suggest a more reserved personality. Barron tends to keep to himself, often preferring video games over socializing. Several students claimed he’s rarely seen on campus, usually sitting at the back of his classes and making a quick exit to a waiting SUV afterward. One even remarked, “He hardly exists.”

Despite the contrast in opinions, most classmates agree on a few things: Barron is laid-back, polite, and has a fondness for playing FIFA in his downtime.

One person suggested, "He washed his hair." One commenter noted, "Shaggy? Are you serious This is casual. Geez,"  A speaker said, "He doesn’t look good with his hair slicked back. Leave it dry."

A person explained, "Bulkier body? Looks more like he’s wearing a bullet proof vest under that top." A social media user wrote, "Normal hair. Better than slimy gel hair." A commenter wrote, "Large boy in a baggy jumper the day before a haircut. He'll be popular at the moment, won't he?" Someone else hailed, "The weight looks good on him! Just right!"
