Late comedian Louie Anderson's manager accuses his sister of refusing to appear for deposition
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA: Famous stand-up comedian and actor Louie Anderson died on January 21, 2022, upon his hospitalization following his cancer diagnosis of diffuse large B cell lymphoma. He was 68 at the time of his death.
Currently, Louie's sister is being accused of not showing up for a deposition in the case she filed, where she claimed that the comedian's associates forced him to alter his will in his last days.
As per the court records obtained by Radar Online, the manager of the late comedian, Ahmos Hassan, requested that Louie's sister Lisa be penalized by the court for her non-attendance at the deposition, insisting on a $25K payment order for Lisa.
Ahmos Hassan demanded Lisa appear for deposition within two weeks of court order
According to a newly filed motion filed by the late comedian's manager Ahmos Hassan, Lisa has to attend the deposition within two weeks of the court's order.
The motion states, "[Lisa’s] inflammatory Petition makes serious accusations against [Ahmos] (and others) elder abuse, undue influence, and more. However, [Lisa] produced exactly zero documents to support her claims in response to the Trustee’s discovery requests."
According to Ahmos, Lisa declined to attend her deposition in person so that he may "cross-examine [Lisa] on the veracity of her baseless … allegations."
Lisa claimed, according to him, that her health prevented her from testifying in court. Ahmos claimed Lisa declined to provide dates even though she had been offered lodging.
Ahmos demanded that Lisa pay a $25K fine for her "gamesmanship" and that she be ordered to appear in court. There is still no decision from the judge.
Lisa sued Louie Anderson's friend and manager over changes made to his trust
Louie Anderson's sister earlier dropped a bombshell in her ongoing struggle against the late comedian's manager Ahmos and his friend Abraham over changes he made to his trust just four days before he died.
According to Louie's sister, her brother began to become wary of those around him in his final years.
Lisa filed a lawsuit against Ahmos and Abraham in 2022 in an attempt to strike down a change Louie made to the trust that significantly reduced the amount Lisa got from his inheritance.
Lisa stated that the comedian was forced by the defendants to sign hospital documents. She claimed that Louie was not competent to sign the paperwork, so Ahmos and Abraham had a notary come to his room to get his signature, as per Radar Online.
In her complaint, Lisa requested that the court invalidate the Louie-signed amendment, which significantly altered the amount Lisa was entitled to receive Louie's inheritance.
According to the lawsuit, she was entitled to 100% of the inheritance under the original trust, but the amendment reduced her inheritance to 30%.

Lisa disclosed that the total assets owned by the trust were $760,746.41. Louie's sister claimed that he owned a property in Florida and a checking account with $750K.
The comedian also had three more bank accounts amounting to about $125,000. Lisa revealed that Louie's estate gets residuals from his several ventures, including 'Coming To America', 'Young Sheldon', 'Scrubs', 'Touched By An Angel', and 'Grace Under Fire'.
Lisa further stated that Abraham and Ahmos received a large portion of the estate as a result of the trust modification.
Abraham and Ahmos have refuted all accusations of misconduct. They referred to Lisa's assertions as "meritless" and asserted that Louie was well aware of the paperwork he was executing.
