‘Be happy, shawty’: Marina Gris ends relationship with 'gentleman' Armie Hammer, says her experience was ‘positive’

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Marina Gris, a 26-year-old IT consultant from Kazakhstan, has announced her breakup with actor Armie Hammer on Instagram.

The couple reportedly had a secret engagement and were planning to get married, but decided to part ways a month ago.

In her long Instagram Story post, Gris said that she had a “deeply personal and warmly significant” journey with Hammer who is currently facing accusations of rape and a cannibalism fetish from his former partners.

She stated that her personal experiences with him were “positive and in no way reflective of these allegations.”

She added that she spoke only from her perspective and was not responsible for any of his past, current and future relationships.

Gris describes Armie Hammer as a gentleman and a supportive partner

Gris also praised Hammer as a "gentleman and a supportive partner, who made her feel “deeply appreciated, supported and understood.”

She said that their decision to get married and their plans for the future were rooted in “strength, encouragement and deep mutual care.”

She said that their breakup was tough, but graceful and respectful, marking a “beautiful end” to their shared journey.

Gris wished Hammer happiness and fulfillment as she held onto memories with fondness. Gris concluded her message by expressing her gratitude for the love and support she received from Hammer and wished him happiness and fulfillment.

She said that she would hold onto their memories with fondness, including the “laughter and light-hearted moments” they shared.

She signed off with the words ‘Be happy, shawty,’ and a heart which was a nickname she used for Hammer.

Marina Gris and Armie Hammer had a whirlwind romance that started in July

According to Daily Mail, Gris and Hammer met in July and had a whirlwind romance that took them to Rome, Prague, and other places.

Gris, who is based in Prague, had shared many messages on her Instagram page detailing her romance with Hammer, who divorced his ex-wife Elizabeth Chambers last June.

Gris had posted a picture of a huge bouquet of pink flowers and a card from Hammer that read, “We are doing this. Forever.”

She had also flaunted a diamond band that sparked speculation that they may have tied the knot or will. "I said “What is it, silly question day, American?” 

Gris had gushed to friends that her ‘heart was going to pop’ before meeting Hammer, saying she was ‘freaking out like a seventh grader.’ Hammer had reportedly gifted her a shiny new ring during a trip to Prague in October.
