LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Disney CEO Bob Iger's reaction on spotting pop sensation Taylor Swift and her boyfriend Travis Kelce on a romantic night out in Los Angeles has made him a subject of social media mockery.

Swift has been making waves on Disney+ with her blockbuster Eras Tour concert movie that was released on the streaming platform recently. To celebrate its release on the platform, Disney+ even revamped its homepage with themes from Swift's albums.

However, a report suggested that the concert film might not be suitable for children due to various elements like the lyrics and choreography. But many parents quickly came to Swift's defense, insisting that the film is indeed children-friendly.

Bob Iger jumps from his seat after spotting Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce

According to Page Six, Disney CEO Iger couldn't contain his excitement when he saw pop star Swift and her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, enjoying a meal at the Bird Streets Club in Los Angeles on Saturday night, March 16, as confirmed by sources.

A source at the members-only club shared, "Bob jumped up from his seat the minute (Swift) walked in."

The sources confirmed to Page Six that the 73-year-old Iger was dining with his wife, Willow Bay, at the club. Meanwhile, Swift and Kelce were having dinner with another couple, according to sources.

The private club, known for attracting A-listers like Leonardo DiCaprio, Timothee Chalamet, and Bruno Mars, set the scene for the celebrity encounter.

Swift, fresh from wrapping up several international concerts of her Eras Tour in Australia and Singapore, is reportedly taking a break at her LA home with Kelce before they both dive back into their busy schedules.

Kelce is reportedly planning a romantic getaway with Swift before she drops her upcoming album, 'The Tortured Poets Department,' on April 19.

Internet mocks Iger

Many social media users mocked Iger for his reaction of seeing Swift and Kelce.

A user wrote, "Of course, Bob Eiger jumped to his feet. She is his company’s future. Now Bob, call the family at Shamrock and get her effing original Masters back."



 

Another user wrote, "Wishing the worst for Bob iger."



 

A user commented, "He needs some chill and remember he is supposed to have skills to be professional."



 

Another user commented, "Considering that ERAS just opened on Disney+, it's not surprising that Mr. Iger was eager to touch base with Ms. Swift."
