At one point, Affleck had a relaxed chat with a man - whom netizens pointed out to be his friend Gerry Cardinale - before going in separate ways.
The ‘Good Will Hunting’ star further interacted with fans as he exited the Manhattan building. After signing autographs, the father-of-three even posed for photos with a few admirers and conference attendees.

This has come as a welcome respite to his loyal fans who were often left worried about the actor’s melancholic face.
Affleck cultivated a reputation for appearing in public looking melancholic and grumpy, raising concerns among his well-wishers.
Nevertheless, the actor previously explained in an interview that he's “a little shy” and doesn't “like a lot of attention,” according to Daily Mail.
He explained during the interview, “That's why people see me and they're like, 'Why's this dude always mad?' Because somebody has their camera and sticks it in my face and I'm like, 'Okay, here we go.”
Affleck’s outing came amid his high-profile divorce from his wife of two years, Jennifer Lopez.
On the second anniversary of their lavish Georgia wedding, in August, the ‘Jenny From The Block’ songstress filed for divorce from Affleck by filing paperwork in a Los Angeles court.
Recently, the mother-of-two was seen attending the ‘Wicked’ premiere in Los Angeles with one of her twins - Emme.
Fans appreciate Ben Affleck's noticeable changes
The internet was pleased to note Ben Affleck's visible transformation was "quite obvious." Some of the fans even noted that the 'Aargo' actor looks like the one of those stars who hate being famous.
One of the readers commented online, "A divorce is not always sad. It beats the alternative."
One added, "Ben Affleck looks a whole lot better than last year (2023). Which is a plus, in my eyes."
"Ok no is grabbing anyone and no one is yelling," noted another fan.
One explained, "He’s probably happy and animated with people he knows, like this guy who is not a random bystander. Why should he accommodate vulture photographers who stick a camera to his face and ask him questions about an ex he’s divorcing. He’s moved on."
Another fan, however, noted, "To be fair, that’s gerry cardinale, his partner and the primary investor for artists equity."
"He’s better off without her, it didn’t work the first time so what ever made them think it would work the second time around," asked another fan.
Someone else cheered, "Ben looks super happy!! Good to see.."
"He always looks uncomfortable. He might be one of the VERY few celebrities who seems to hate being famous," seemed to observe someone else.
Another fan chimed in, "He’s been looking really upbeat, jovial and lighter (like a huge weight has been lifted off his shoulders and he’s no longer confined) since the divorce. I’m no disparaging JLo but Ben’s transformation is quite obvious/."
