Ben Affleck shows off jolly mood during NYC outing after months of grumpy look amid Jennifer Lopez split

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Ben Affleck is a changed man. The 52-year-old Oscar winner was recently spotted in New York City as he attended a CNBC program on Wednesday, November 13.

But, it was his changed demeanor that caught the attention of the fans.

Affleck, who had previously cultivated a reputation for looking sullen during his public outings, looked jovial and relaxed during his outing in the Big Apple midweek.

Dressed in a sharp blue suit, Ben Affleck looked dapper as he visited the CNBC studio for a talk show. As the actor was coming out, he had a relaxed look and had a few fun interactions with fans. 

At one point, Affleck had a relaxed chat with a man - whom netizens pointed out to be his friend Gerry Cardinale - before going in separate ways. 

The ‘Good Will Hunting’ star further interacted with fans as he exited the Manhattan building. After signing autographs, the father-of-three even posed for photos with a few admirers and conference attendees. 

This has come as a welcome respite to his loyal fans who were often left worried about the actor’s melancholic face. 

Affleck cultivated a reputation for appearing in public looking melancholic and grumpy, raising concerns among his well-wishers. 

Nevertheless, the actor previously explained in an interview that he's “a little shy” and doesn't “like a lot of attention,” according to Daily Mail. 

He explained during the interview, “That's why people see me and they're like, 'Why's this dude always mad?' Because somebody has their camera and sticks it in my face and I'm like, 'Okay, here we go.”

Affleck’s outing came amid his high-profile divorce from his wife of two years, Jennifer Lopez. 

On the second anniversary of their lavish Georgia wedding, in August, the ‘Jenny From The Block’ songstress filed for divorce from Affleck by filing paperwork in a Los Angeles court. 

Recently, the mother-of-two was seen attending the ‘Wicked’ premiere in Los Angeles with one of her twins - Emme.

The internet was pleased to note Ben Affleck's visible transformation was "quite obvious." Some of the fans even noted that the 'Aargo' actor looks like the one of those stars who hate being famous.
