Ben Affleck 'trying to erase' Kick Kennedy from his life as Jennifer Lopez divorce proceedings continue

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Amid his ongoing divorce proceedings with Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck is reportedly making significant efforts to distance himself from Kick Kennedy amid rumors of a potential romantic involvement between the two.

Ben Affleck's representatives have recently denied the actor having any romantic fling with Kick Kennedy, Radar Online reported.

Addressing the rumors, Ben Affleck's representative Jen Allen told various outlets on Tuesday, August 27, "There is no truth to any of it. I don't know if they even know each other." Despite these denials, insiders close to Affleck revealed that the two have spent time together, fueling speculation about their relationship.

One insider told Daily Mail, "Ben should have said nothing. He tried to erase Kick from his existence, and it was just not fair for her, or for anyone who knows her."

"He is trying to pull the 'I don't know her' card but what he failed to realize is that they weren't the only two people in the world that knew that they used to hook up, or that they were hanging out again," they continued.

"He fears that this will affect his divorce and, even though there was no overlap, saying he didn't even know her was not the right move," the source added.

Sources close to Affleck expressed concern that his association with Kick Kennedy could negatively influence his divorce from Jennifer Lopez. 

An insider told Page Six, "Their friendship has been going on for a while, even before Ana (de Armas). When Ben started seeing Ana in 2020 and chose to quarantine with her during Covid, Kick was less than thrilled."

Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce from Ben Affleck at the Los Angeles Superior Court on the second anniversary of their extravagant Georgia wedding. In the documents, she cited April 26, 2024, as the official date of their separation.
