LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Conservative commentator Ben Shapiro, known for his sharp critiques and unyielding views, recently unleashed a scathing attack on Vice President Kamala Harris following her interview with CNN.

The founder of The Daily Wire took to his personal and the outlet’s X account to voice his displeasure, not only with Harris but also with CNN’s handling of the interview.

Ben Shapiro didn't mince words in rant against Kamala Harris' recent CNN interview

Ben Shapiro did not mince words when expressing his disappointment with how CNN’s Dana Bash conducted the interview with Kamala Harris.

The conservative pundit argued that Bash failed to ask hard-hitting follow-up questions, allowing Harris to evade accountability.

Shapiro began his video by setting the stage with the latest polling data from The Wall Street Journal, which indicated a tight race between Harris and former president Donald Trump, with Harris at 48 percent and Trump at 47 percent.

This context, Shapiro suggested, made the need for a rigorous interview all the more critical.

"Dana Bash did a horrifyingly bad job. She would ask a somewhat difficult question to Kamala Harris, and then Kamala Harris would wriggle her way out of the question," Shapiro declared.

He criticized Bash for not pressing Harris further, saying, "Instead, she started feeding her answers. She started avoiding the follow-ups that would have hurt her."

Shapiro's critique extended beyond the substance of the questions to the overall presentation of the interview. He mocked the setting and the visual dynamics, claiming they contributed to a "trash" viewing experience

"They look like they were doing this from the inside of a small town airport waiting because there was a flight delay," Shapiro quipped.

Shapiro pointed out that Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, who stood beside Harris, overshadowed her physically, which he argued created an awkward power dynamic.

"Tim Walz is taller than Kamala Harris. She is not a very tall woman. She looks like he has brought her to the principal's office. That is what he looks like," Shapiro remarked.

He continued by criticizing the technical aspects of the production, noting that the interview was "poorly lit" and "weirdly drained of all color."

"It looks almost grayscale because of the lighting," Shapiro said. He further elaborated on the bizarre setting, describing it as if Harris were in "a black and white movie in an abandoned coffee shop in Georgia."

He likened Harris's appearance to "a middle manager at a bank that is never going to make it to upper management because she is not qualified and who brought her dad to an interview."

As Shapiro wrapped up his critique, he focused on what he saw as the broader implications of the interview.

He argued that Harris is attempting to "obscure every policy position she ever took," particularly those from 2019, by shifting her stance to appeal to a broader electorate.

"Harris is now attempting to obscure every policy position she ever took. She is pretending she didn’t believe anything she said in 2019. She’s running to the middle by lying to you. That is most important," Shapiro asserted.
