LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ben Stiller shared how he is often mistaken for fellow comedian Adam Sandler, with fans frequently attributing Sandler’s life-changing work to him.
The mix-up is quite frequent, particularly involving Sandler’s beloved 2006 film 'Click'.

Stiller discussed these amusing encounters on 'The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon' on Wednesday, November 27.
“We’ve been buddies for, I don’t know, 30 years or something now,” Stiller said.
“People always will yell out to me or to him, and he’ll text me and he’ll say, like, ‘I was in Italy and someone said, 'Ben Stiller, I love you!'’” People reported.
Stiller said that fans also credit him for 'Click', adding, “Someone will say, like, ‘Oh man, Click changed my life’ to me.”

Ben Stiller humorously recounted that when he clarifies to fans that he's not Adam Sandler, they often react with surprise, frequently asking him who that is.
“I’ll say, ‘No, I’m not Adam Sandler. I’m Ben Stiller.’ And then they say, ‘Who?’” Stiller recalled during the interview with Fallon.
The comedic duo has appeared together in several films. Both starred as brothers in the 2017 film 'The Meyerowitz Stories', and Stiller had a memorable role in Sandler’s 'Happy Gilmore' (1996).
Additionally, Stiller made cameo appearances in Sandler’s 2020 movie 'Hubie Halloween' and the 2009 film 'Funny People'.

Fans can look forward to seeing the two comedians together again in 'Happy Gilmore 2'. Stiller will reprise his role as Hal L.
Netflix confirmed the sequel in May, with Sandler revealing in August that NFL star Travis Kelce and actor Benny Safdie would also join the cast, with Kelce having “a nice something” in the film.
“Travis is going to come by,” Sandler said in an appearance on 'The Tonight Show' in August.
Sandler previously praised their collaboration on 'Meyerowitz', saying in a 2017 interview with 'Good Morning America', “Me and Ben, I just loved him."
"We loved seeing each other every day. I love seeing him. It was an amazing, brotherly feeling, and our scenes together, I was so excited to do them," Sandler said.
