The album features new songs, including a cover of Dolly Parton's 'Jolene', and it debuted on Spotify with a staggering 76.13 million streams, as reported by a fan account called Bey Legion.
Bey Legion's tweet on X also highlighted some impressive achievements of 'Cowboy Carter' within its first day, noting, "Beyonce's #COWBOYCARTER debuts on @Spotify w/ a whopping 76.13 MILLION streams. The Daily Mail also noted that the streaming figures for 'Cowboy Carter' have already exceeded those of Beyonce's July 2022 album 'Renaissance', which garnered 43.2 million streams on its debut day.
Even before the full album's release, the lead single from 'Cowboy Carter', 'Texas Hold 'Em', had already made waves by accumulating over 200 million streams at the time of writing.
