On June 7, the date, which would have marked Prince's 66th birthday, Beyonce shared two Instagram posts showcasing an outfit that included a nod to the 'When Doves Cry' singer.
The 'Cowboy Carter' singer looked amazing in the latest photos, sporting a timeless outfit of black T-shirt, light-wash boyfriend jeans, and black boots. Naturally, she wore a Prince and the Revolution graphic tee that featured the late musician's famous symbol which he once changed his name to—as her go-to item.
The 'CUFF IT' singer paired the look with a pair of black sunglasses and a brown fur coat, and accessorized with a chunky silver choker and earrings.

In keeping with another current occasion, Beyonce paid tribute to Pride Month by pairing her purple and black Prince tee with a denim Balenciaga handbag adorned with two pride flags.
Beyonce let the group speak for itself by merely using a purple heart emoji as a description for her photos. This is perhaps a reference to Prince's well-known song, 'Purple Rain', which the pop star has sung with him on stage and in movies.
When Prince opened about Beyonce
Prince and Beyonce perform a medley of his hits during The 46th Annual GRAMMY Awards at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.
The 'Raspberry Beret' singer previously shared in an interview that he didn’t necessarily give Beyoncé any advice prior to their joint performance.
Rather, he opened about Beyonce saying, “I was really curious as to how much she knew musically, and I was really pleased to find out that she knew a lot about scales mixolydian scales and Egyptian styles and different things like that.”
“I was just trying to show her some chords on the piano," Prince continued, "and help her to respect the fact that if she learns piano — à la Aretha Franklin and Ray Charles and things like that — I mean, the sky's the limit as to what she could do, because she's so very talented.”
