LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Tina Knowles, mother of singer Beyonce, opened up about social media advice she received from her son-in-law, Jay-Z.

Tina Knowles admits accidental social media activity about her family

Tina Knowles later claimed her Instagram account had been hacked on December 9.

She now addressed the situation during an appearance on Vogue's 'The Run-Through' podcast.

She admitted, “It's so funny because you know how many times I've liked something that was negative about my own children?”

Knowles explained how quickly she sometimes clicks 'like' without fully reviewing the content, saying, "if I'm busy and I'm going through the thing, I'm like, ‘Oh, there's Beyoncé with so and so.' I like that."

Following the backlash, Tina Knowles clarified her stance in a December 9 Instagram post where she wrote, “I was Hacked! As you all know I do not play about my family."

On the podcast, she also shared advice Jay-Z had offered her about social media mistakes.

Knowles said, "My son-in-law, Jay will say, 'Listen, if you're gonna read somebody, at least spell your words right. Don't misspell your words, Ma. You can't do that. Take your time and go over and spellcheck your stuff!'”

However, she responded to Jay-Z's advice by saying, “I don’t have time for that.”

Blue Ivy offers Tina Knowles her advise

Tina Knowles also shared that her granddaughter, Blue Ivy Carter, has occasionally given her feedback on social media activity.

"Every once in a while, I'll get a call from Blue, and she'll say, "Grandma, that's really whack what you just did. That's really whack. You should delete that,"' Knowles said as People reported

Despite the suggestions, Knowles admitted she often dismisses them, saying, “I'm like, 'Girl, I'm on to the next thing.' And all of the comments are like, 'There you go again, Miss Tina.'”

Jay-Z has denied the allegations mentioned in the post, which referenced an incident that allegedly took place at a VMA's afterparty in September 2000.
