LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Tina Knowles has responded to Kanye West after he shared a disturbing post about Beyonce and Jay-Z’s 7-year-old twins, Rumi and Sir.

The rapper questioned the children's existence and mental capacity in an offensive social media post on March 18, which he later deleted.

Tina Knowles slams Kayne West, calls him 'evil

Tina Knowles took to Instagram the next day with a subtle but pointed response.

Knowles shared a video in which she told a "corny joke" while on the set of a photoshoot.

"So I'm on the set of a photoshoot today for my book, and I wanted to tell you a corny joke," she said in the clip.

"What happens when a snowman throws a tantrum? He has a meltdown. Y'all know that's funny," she said.

In a since-edited caption, as reported by New York Post, she addressed the situation, writing, "It’s hard to remain positive and classy in the face of ignorance and evil."

"But I know that no weapon formed against me or my family shall prosper," she reportedly wrote.

She added, "This battle is not mine, but the Lord's, I know that God has got this," as per the outlet.

Kanye West admits he deleted post about Beyonce and Jay-Z's children to avoid cancellation

Kanye West later explained why he removed the post, making it clear that it was not out of remorse.

"I need everyone to know that I took the post about Jay Z and Beyonce’s family down … because there was a possibility of my Twitter being cancelled [sic]," he wrote, as per the outlet.

West’s now-deleted post read, "WAIT HAS ANYONE EVER SEEN JAY Z AND BEYONCES YOUNGER KIDS," before making offensive comments about their mental abilities.

Additionally, West alleged that the couple used in vitro fertilization (IVF) to conceive their twins.

He then admitted he felt “bad” after the unwarranted attack on the couple’s children.



 

Tina Knowles says she taught Beyonce and Solange that 'family comes first'

Earlier this week, Tina Knowles spoke at the In Charge & The Power of Kindness summit in New York City, where she shared the values she instilled in her daughters, Beyonce and Solange.

"One thing I taught them was that family comes first. Your children and husband come first," she said, as per People.

"And I think they learned to be strong and resilient through hard times," she said.

She continued, "I've had many many hard times. And just to be their true selves and not to be fake or phony. I've been preaching that since they were kids."
