Bhad Bhabie makes amends with estranged dad Ira Peskowitz after years of family strife and court battles

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Danielle Bregoli, better known as Bhad Bhabie, has made peace with her estranged father, Ira Peskowitz, following many years of family strife and court battles.

According to sources, the 21-year-old rapper and media personality got back in touch with her father in the summer of 2023 after reaching out to him, as reported by TMZ on Friday, October 4.

According to people with knowledge of the matter, Bhad Bhabie made amends with her father back in the summer of 2023, and she was the one who initiated contact, leading to a few informal phone and text exchanges.

The website claimed that after Bhabie paid her father a visit in Florida, he and his wife, as well as Bhabie's two half-brothers, were invited to California.

According to insiders, Bhabie thought that enough time had gone without speaking to her father and made the decision to move on from their history.

Reportedly, Bhabie and Ira are getting along well now, and he also has a connection with the rapper's daughter, Kali Love.

Ira has also posted pictures on his Facebook page since he and Bhabie reconciled. The young rapper is pictured with her father, stepmother, and two half-brothers in the group portrait.

Bhabie welcomed Kali in March with her boyfriend Le Vaughn. The star's father was also spotted at Kali's six-month birthday celebration in September, per Daily Mail.

Le Vaughn's mother posted a picture of Ira grinning while he stood next to Bhabie at the party with a strawberry theme on Instagram.

Ira Peskowitz, Bhad Bhabie, and her mother Barbara Bregoli have all been involved in family conflict and legal issues in the past.

In 2020, Bhabie considered obtaining a restraining order against Ira following his claims that Barbara had abused her.

He had earlier allegedly accused Barbara of threatening to "stab and kill him", in front of 4-month-old Bhabie, leading him to reportedly file a domestic dispute report against her.

The following day, Bhabie's mother filed a countersuit, claiming Ira had threatened to kill himself as well as her and their daughter.

Ira filed for a restraining order in 2018 and claimed that Barbara "went after him with a knife".

Bhabie once chastised her father for not being in her life, saying he was just interested in taking advantage of her fame. Bhabie had Ira's name taken off her birth certificate two years before the ordeal as he had given up his parental rights.

Bhabie shared her desire to obtain a restraining order against Ira in a since-deleted 2020 Instagram post.

"I want a restraining order against this man. This is my biological father but is also the same man who walked out on my mother when I was three months old for some stripper that he met in Canada," she said at the time.

She added: "Then got married to her 27 March 2004 – the day after my first birthday which he wasn't EVEN THERE FOR. This man makes a big deal out of everything I can't even post a video as a joke without this man making it seem more than it is."

"All he wants is spot light when he really needs mental help! This man is mentally ill. Wasn't only cheating on my momma with strippers but men too #seekhelp."

Bhabie and Ira reconciled a few months after she accused her boyfriend Le Vaughn of suspected domestic abuse in July.
