NANTUCKET, MASSACHUSETTS: It seems Super Bowl rings aren’t the only thing catching Bill Belichick’s eye lately.

The former New England Patriots head coach — who famously led one of the most successful dynasties in football — is making headlines for a potential new chapter in his life. The buzz is swirling around two key possibilities: a return to coaching or settling down with his new love interest, 23-year-old Jordon Hudson.

The Dallas Cowboys come calling

Rumors have been flying about where Bill Belichick might land if he decides to return to the sidelines. Among the interested parties? None other than the Dallas Cowboys. With the Cowboys struggling through a lukewarm 3-3 start this season under head coach Mike McCarthy, many believe that team owner Jerry Jones could be looking for a change.

And, as insiders suggest, Belichick might just be the perfect fit. "If Jerry fires Mike McCarthy, the Cowboys job is Bill's if he wants it," a source revealed to the Daily Mail. The Cowboys haven’t been shy about their desire for a return to glory, and Jones is known for his willingness to make bold moves if it means bringing home another Lombardi Trophy.

But while the Cowboys’ interest is real, Belichick’s willingness to jump back into the game isn’t as clear-cut. "If the season continues in the direction it is going, Bill might be getting a call but if he takes any job, he would take it for next year, and not fill in anywhere this year," the insider said.

Belichick is facing a major crossroads. Sources close to the situation say he’s enjoying his time off, especially since he started dating Jordon Hudson. Their relationship has reportedly grown so strong that “we may be hearing wedding bells for the pair soon.”

"Bill is in a bit of a crossroads on what he would like to do for his future as there is still a drive to coach again and break the wins record, but his life now isn't that bad as he has been enjoying doing TV and absolutely enjoying his relationship with his girlfriend Jordon that is blossoming into something that is going to lead to marriage," another source said.

"He wants to be with her all of the time, but she is pushing him to see the options that he will have for next season because she knows that makes him happy," the insider continued.

Will Bill Belichick tackle the Cowboys' job?

While the Cowboys are showing interest, taking on the role might not be so straightforward for Bil Belichick. Sources suggest that working with Jerry Jones could bring its own challenges.

"Bill at this moment is actually leaning toward not taking the job because he would have to deal with Jerry Jones," the source continued.

Despite the allure of leading America’s Team, it seems Belichick might use the Cowboys’ interest as a bargaining chip rather than a destination.

"Since the Cowboys are awful and are in need of a new direction and coach, Bill might use that as leverage to sway Jerry to do things differently, but it isn't automatic that he will be joining the Cowboys, it's more likely he won't as taking the job will result in more headaches than needed," the insider said.

"The main takeaway from a future Dallas coaching job might be something Bill uses to gain another job elsewhere. He might use teams against each other to get to the place he actually wants to go," they concluded.

With multiple potential suitors, it seems Belichick might be able to write his own ticket—choosing a team that suits him best.

One such option could be the New York Jets, who are reportedly looking for a new head coach after parting ways with Robert Saleh. The thought of Belichick leading the Jets is sure to raise some eyebrows, given his history with the franchise and their divisional rivalry with the Patriots.

A year off sidelines and in media spotlight

Since stepping away from the Patriots after 24 incredible seasons, Bill Belichick hasn’t exactly been out of the spotlight. He’s become a fan favorite in the media, making appearances on 'The Pat McAfee Show,' the Manningcast during 'Monday Night Football,' 'Inside the NFL,' and even on the Underdog Fantasy network.

But with all this freedom comes a big decision. Will he stay in the comfort of his new life with Jordon —  potentially moving toward marriage — or will the allure of coaching greatness pull him back to the sidelines?

As one insider put it, “After a year removed from the game on the field, he is going to have some more options but as it looks now he will be making the decision not just for himself but with the love of his life as he wants her to be happy with any decision he is meant to make on any offers he will be given.”
