NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Bill Nye the Science Guy returned to the New York Fashion Week runway for the 9th Annual Blue Jacket Runway Show on Tuesday, February 4, reported People.
The show is organized by Zero Cancer, a nonprofit organization, and benefits the Prostate Cancer Foundation which funds research to find a cure for the disease. It was launched in 2016 by fashion designer Frederick Anderson with Laura Miller, as per the organizer's website.

Bill Nye, 69, took to the runway decked in a Thom Browne ensemble on Sunday. He wore a navy blue bomber jacket patterned with Greek gods and goddesses and paired it with black shorts that stayed above the knee.
The television personality also black crew socks and black dress shoes on the ramp, and at one point, put on a pair of dark sunglasses to accessorize. Nye gave a playful salute and wave to the audience as he reached the end of the runway.
This was not the first time the scientist dipped his toes in the world of fashion. He had walked for the Blue Jacket Runway Show in 2017, and again in 2020.
During his second walk, he sported a tuxedo designed by Nicholas Graham featuring a blue jacket with floral brocade. He danced to the song 'Juice' by Lizzo, and the moment went viral on social media.
Nye also shared his connection with the cause in an interview, saying, "My dad had prostate cancer. And you know you can test for this prostate hormone. So I think that we are, and by ‘we’ I mean researchers, are close to solving this problem and so to support this cause is cool.”
