WASHINGTON, DC: Bill O’Reilly revealed that President Donald Trump believes Iranians will surrender and agree to nuclear weapons inspections rather than face military action from the US amid their ongoing conflict with Israel.

The former Fox News host, 75, claimed to have spoken with Trump via text message, where the president admitted that he “doesn’t want to use American air power at this point” because of potential complications with China and Russia.

O’Rielly’s claims came after Trump gave a terrifying warning to Iranians to leave Tehran following his departure from the G7 summit.

Iran and Israel have been locked in a war-like situation since June 13, when Israel launched a barrage of missiles on its old enemy, killing commanders and scientists and bombing nuclear sites in a bid to prevent Tehran from building a nuclear weapon, according to USA Today.

Bill O’Reilly claims Donald Trump believes he can make 'the Iranians surrender'

After Donald Trump exited the G7 summit, Bill O’Reilly appeared on NewsNation’s ‘On Balance with Leland Vitter’, where he claimed to have exchanged a few text messages with Donald Trump.

“Earlier today, very briefly, I texted with President Trump. He doesn’t want to use American air power at this point because that would cause some problems with China and Putin,” the political commentator said, according to Mediaite.

“He would rather have the Iranians surrender, which he believes they will. Now, that’s what he believes, that the mullahs are through, they will have to sign a deal,” he further explained.

According to O'Reilly, Trump instead expects that Iranian authorities will consent to let UN weapons inspectors enter their nuclear sites and destroy their arsenal under international supervision.

“The deal will be that weapons inspectors go into all of the places that are working on the nuke, they identify what they have, and then the Iranians themselves, under the supervision of the United Nations, would destroy a lot of their arsenal. That’s what the deal would entail,” he stated.

O’Reilly further acknowledged that if Iran refuses to negotiate, “there’s a good chance US bombers will go in and obliterate it.” He said Trump would need to convince Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to accept any deal with Iran, describing Netanyahu as “not an easy sell.”

Donald Trump wants 'real end' to Iran's nuclear program

On Monday, June 16, French President Emmanuel Macron, one of the G7 leaders attending the summit in Canada, said that Donald Trump's early exit may be due to a ceasefire between Israel and Iran being on the table.

"There is indeed an offer to meet and exchange. An offer was made especially to get a ceasefire and to then kickstart broader discussion," he stated, according to the Daily Mail.

But Trump slammed down Macron’s claims and revealed that his exit “has nothing to do with a Cease Fire.”

“Publicity seeking President Emmanuel Macron, of France, mistakenly said that I left the G7 Summit, in Canada, to go back to D.C. to work on a 'cease fire' between Israel and Iran. Wrong!” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

“He has no idea why I am now on my way to Washington, but it certainly has nothing to do with a Cease Fire. Much bigger than that. Whether purposely or not, Emmanuel always gets it wrong. Stay Tuned!” he added.

In another post, Trump urged Iranians to evacuate Tehran, citing what he said was the country's rejection of a deal to curb nuclear weapons development.

"Iran should have signed the 'deal' I told them to sign. What a shame, and a waste of human life. Simply stated, Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon. I said it over and over again! Everyone should immediately evacuate Tehran!" the commander-in-chief wrote.

This came after Trump told reporters that he "didn't say I was looking for a ceasefire" and instead wants "a real end," with Iran "giving up entirely" on nuclear weapons.

"The Israelis aren't slowing up their barrage on Iran," CBS reports him as saying. "You're going to find out over the next two days. You're going to find out. Nobody's slowed up so far."
