LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Conservationists Chandler Powell and Bindi Irwin Powell are making headlines by expressing their contentment with their family of three.
This comes after they engaged in a Q&A session where Chandler and Bindi addressed the often-asked question, “Will you be having more children?”
The couple shared intimate details about their journey, including Bindi’s struggle with endometriosis, and expressed their deep appreciation for their daughter, Grace. Bindi also cautioned people to think carefully before asking such questions, as one can never know what might be happening in someone else's life.
Chandler and Bindi Irwin Powell are content with their family of three
During the Q&A video session on the Australia Zoo YouTube channel, Chandler and Bindi Irwin Powell addressed the frequently asked question: “Will you be having more children?”
Chandler, 27, opened up by saying, “Basically, we get asked this question a lot. And Bindi, a lot of you may already know, she went through a big journey with endometriosis. And basically it was an absolute miracle that we had Grace."
Chandler and Bindi, 26, expressed their contentment with their current family of three, including their 3-year-old daughter, Grace Warrior Irwin Powell.
Chandler shared their joy, stating, “We love Grace so much and are reveling in every little moment we have with her, with our little miracle baby.”
Bindi, daughter of the late "Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin, supported her husband’s response and emphasized the sensitivity needed when asking such questions.
“And I really appreciate everybody who's curious to see if we will have another child, but I do just want to send it out there that remember to be careful when you ask this question because you never know what's happening in someone's life,” she said.
She continued, “In a family's world, everything may seem fine on the outside, and on the inside, their own personal journey might have been filled with turmoil and challenges, that you know, you can't even fathom.”
Bindi acknowledged "the kindness and good intent behind it" but pointed out that they can be particularly painful for those who may not be able to have more children.
She detailed, “We feel very lucky to have Grace. She is our beautiful girl, but she will probably be our one child. So she will be our one child.”
Despite this, Bindi remained hopeful, adding, “You never know what the future holds. Maybe we will be blessed with another little one down the road. That would be incredible. But, yeah, who knows?"
