DETROIT, MICHIGAN: President Joe Biden is back to using his famous food analogies as he said to the auto-union workers in Michigan on Thursday, February 1, that Americans “don’t taste that good.”

The 81-year-old Democrat was later heckled by anti-Israeli protesters.

Joe Biden says Americans ‘don’t taste that good’

During an event with the United Auto Workers on Thursday, Joe Biden commented on the state of industries in America, per New York Post.

Biden told the UAW members, “Remember they told us we’re dead — manufacturing is dead in America, China is gonna eat our lunch?”

He then quipped, “Well guess what, man? We don’t taste that good.”

A few hours later, as Biden visited a restaurant north of Detroit, Michigan, he faced several protesters rallying against the President’s stance in the Israel-Hamas War.

The Great Lake State has a huge Arab American population who rallied against the President as he visited Michigan.

The protesters carried banners criticizing Biden with strong words like “Genocide Joe: How many kids have you killed today?” They further chanted, “F*** Joe Biden.”

Joe Biden's history of food analogies

This is not the first time Joe Biden has employed food analogies. Earlier in 2019, Biden as a Presidential candidate commented that China was not an economic threat to the US.

He commented then, “China is going to eat our lunch? Come on, man — they can’t even figure out how to deal with the fact that they have this great division between the China Sea and the mountains in the West,” per Reuters.

He continued, “They can’t figure out how they’re going to deal with the corruption that exists within the system,” before adding, “They’re not bad folks, folks… They’re not competition for us.”

In 2021, Biden further said, “If we don’t get moving, they are going to eat our lunch," per New York Post.

He continued, “They’re investing billions of dollars dealing with a whole range of issues that relate to transportation, the environment and a whole range of other things. We just have to step up.”

Netizens slam Joe Biden for his 'bizarre' remarks

Joe Biden's words were strongly criticized by a section of the netizens.

One of them said in bewilderment, "This can not be true....can it??? what in the world."

Someone else wondered, "Did he think he was in Kellogg, Michigan?"

"Is it really bizarre at this point when it's a daily occurrence?" another asked.

"What’s bizarre is that anyone would vote for him," commented a social media user.

"They might have said the union workers endorse biden but they're voting for Trump. That's hilarious. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it," a netizen added.
