Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni feud grows after being spotted in heated convo on 'It Ends With Us' set
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Blake Lively and her ‘It Ends With Us’ director & co-actor Justin Baldoni’s on-set feud controversy went up a notch above!
While the speculations of a feud between the film’s lead pair were afloat for the last few days, a few on-set photos from the film show the 36-year-old actress being animated while talking to Baldoni.
According to a video shared by TMZ, the ‘Gossip Girl’ actress and Baldoni were seen arguing while filming the drama in New Jersey last year.
Were Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni fighting?
According to the clip that was reportedly recorded on May 17, 2023, Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni were “arguing" outside the New Jersey restaurant Hoboken when the pair were filming. The tension between the duo seemed palpable, with Lively moving her hands and veering away from Baldoni.
The ‘Jane the Virgin’ actor was also seen waving his hands. Ultimately, the tension seemed to have dissipated after Lively said “OK.”
However, sources told TMZ while referencing an on-set source that the duo “were not upset with each other.” Baldoni was not acting, but directing the scene, and he and Lively “were in between takes, and simply talking.”
Apart from the clip, a few sources have also been speaking out about the on-set tension regarding Baldoni with a few outlets.
One source recently claimed while talking to Page Six that the ‘Five Feet Apart’ actor created an “extremely difficult” environment for cast and crew, noting Lively was “uncomfortable” amid filming.
An insider dished out to the outlet, “None of the cast enjoyed working with Justin - they certainly didn't talk to him at the premiere.”
An onlooker, who was not involved with the film, further shared with TMZ that the ‘The Sisterhood of Traveling Pants’ actress “rarely looked thrilled” on multiple occasions while she was in the area filming.
Moreover, the speculations behind their feud were further aggravated when Baldoni was not pictured with any of the cast members during the movie's New York City premiere at AMC Lincoln Square on August 6.
Justin Baldoni was allegedly ‘chauvinistic’ and ‘borderline abusive’
Moreover, another source recently shared with Daily Mail that Baldoni behaved in a “chauvinistic” and “borderline abusive” manner while filming.
He was also allegedly “dismissive” of Lively’s suggestions while depicting scenes of abuse in the motion picture.
The source shared, “Justin almost became the character in the sense that some women on set felt he was borderline abusive to them and that he was unprofessional and unapologetic.”
