LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Blake Lively has been turning heads on the red carpets for years with her gorgeous attires and eclectic styling, but recently came under criticism for her styling actress Isabela Ferrer.

Ferrer, who plays the younger version of Lively’s character, Lily, in their latest release ‘It Ends With Us’, appeared on the New York premiere of the film styled by none other than the ‘Gossip Girl’ actress herself, per Daily Mail.

However, it appeared that her overall look failed to make an impression on a section of the netizens who did not like the styling in particular.

Now, the issue with the styling is that Ferrer has admitted previously that she was styled by Lively for her red carpet look. Thus, the fans criticized the ‘Sisterhood of Traveling Pants' star for trying her hands at styling the younger actress.

Isabela Ferrer reveals Blake Lively styled her

Recently, stylist and costume designer Shannon Stokes criticized Blake Lively as he shared a video from E! where Ferrer, 24, admitted that Lively was the stylist behind her ensemble.

He accompanied the video by criticizing, “This styling is so unhinged. This is why u hire professionals.”

For the occasion, the young actress opted for a white and green floral printed dress, which matched the floral theme of the film as Colleen Hoover’s story on which the movie is based, revolves around the character of Lily who owns a flower shop.

In the interview with E!, the Irish-Puerto Rican actress attributed her look to Lively, saying, “She did style me. This is all her doing.”

The actress further provided that she was wearing an Oscar de la Renta dress “in classic Blake fashion.”

Lively styled Ferrer with stacks of Lorraine Schwartz bracelets and shoes from her collection.

Lively, on the other hand, wore a Versace dress previously worn by Britney Spears in the early 2000s, which she purchased for $10,000 from Tab Vintage in Los Angeles.

Ferrer gushed, “She's been an absolute angel and a mentor and a big sister to me.” Even, Lively gushed about the younger actress, saying, “We were like, ‘This is crazy,’ and there were other great actresses who gave great performances, but there was just no one but her,” per Pop Crave

“Because even if she didn't act in a similar way as me or speak in a similar way or have similar mannerisms or look like me or have the same mole, her performance was so strong, her heart was so strong,” said the actress.

Blake Lively gets criticized for her styling choices

The netizens were not happy with Lively's styling of her 'It Ends With Us'. While the social media users did not have many complaints regarding the dress, they had issues with the styling for which they blamed Blake Lively.

One of the social media users quoted Ferrer, saying, "“This is all her doing.” I know that’s right you better let them know you didn’t decide to stack BOTH your arms with 20 bracelets and cuffs… Blake having the audacity to style someone since she doesn’t have one is wild … I can’t even look at this"

Another user chimed in by punning on Ferrer's statement, "“This is all her doing, don’t blame me!”"

"The bracelets are ridiculous," declared another unsatisfied fan.

Meanwhile, someone else noted, "Literally looks like she rummaged through her big sisters closet. 😂."

"“Don’t know where I’d be without her” … well, probably styled better, for one thing," quipped another referencing Ferrer's statement.

Someone else said, "Seriously questioning what Blake’s aversion to working with stylists is lol."

"Ik she wanted to take those bracelets off," said another fan.

Another fan vehemently criticized the accessories, saying, "The earrings. The bracelets. The shoes. No. No. No."

Someone else noted, "Blake has some excellt moments (Met Galas) but her other style moments have seemed pretty stuck in the sort of 2011/season 5 of Gossip Girl era for a while now."

"Omg it’s giving, “I couldn’t say no to her,” chimed in another.

"I am going to say something that has the potential to be incredibly controversial…I do not think Blake Lively is the style icon she or anyone else believes herself to be. She’s had good moments, for sure, and goodness knows she’s gorgeous, but it just feels underwhelming to me," noted another fan.

Someone else commented, "The sheer amount of bracelets is staggering."
