Bob Saget's widow Kelly Rizzo confirms relationship with Breckin Meyer at 2024 Grammys viewing party

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Bob Saget’s widow, Kelly Rizzo, recently began dating 'Clueless' actor Breckin Meyer, and the two went public with their relationship at Steven Tyler's annual Grammy Awards viewing party on Sunday, February 4.

The 44-year-old's husband, who starred in 'Full House', died in 2022 after succumbing to blunt head trauma from an accidental blow to his head, possibly from a fall, while staying at a Florida hotel during his stand-up tour. 

Rizzo's new beau, Breckin, 49, was formerly married to Deborah Kaplan, with whom he shares two daughters. The actor is most known for his roles in 'Clueless' and 'The Craft and Road Trip' as per Daily Mail.

Although Rizzo and Breckin walked the red carpet together at the event, the blogger admitted it took her some time to come to terms with the prospect of dating again following the 'Full House' actor's death.

"It took a while to get to the point where I’m like, ‘OK, I think he’d be happy with it’," told Rizzo to E! News, adding how Saget's daughters Aubrey, 36, Lara, 34, and Jennifer, 31, approved of the latest relationship.

She added, "It's wonderful, it just meant so much to have their blessing. They're just angels. And to have them support is so meaningful."

Rizzo and Meyer appeared at Steven Tyler's event, which raised money for his charity, Janie's Fund, which assists girls who are abused and neglected. The 'Clueless' actor donned an all-gray outfit with a faded black denim jacket, while Rizzo wore a high-neck leopard print dress and knee-high boots.

In an earlier interview with PEOPLE Magazine, Rizzo discussed her bond with Saget's children and how she is still grieving the loss of her lover immediately after his death.

"Every day — it’s not even every year — it’s just every day, he’s just still such a big part of my life. And I love being close to his girls and his daughters. And just honoring him with just little things that I do all day every day. He’s never going anywhere," said the podcaster. 

Rizzo also revealed that, although she did not require the consent of his children, she valued having their approval.

In a December 2023 interview with Fox News Digital, she mentioned, "I’d love to think that Bob would want me to be happy too, but to hear it from them is just a totally different level. And it meant the world just to hear, 'Hey, we trust you. We love you. We know you’re going to do what’s right, and we want you to be happy.'"

On Saget's second death anniversary, Rizzo paid tribute to her late husband with a heartfelt post on her Instagram.
