'Boy please!' Internet blasts Tarek El Moussa after he claims he lived in halfway house after Christina Hall divorce

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Tarek El Moussa has spoken about the time when he and his first wife, Christina Hall, got divorced.

Moussa and Hall had been married from 2009 to 2018. They also share two children — Taylor Reese and Brayden James.

The TV personality appeared on ‘The Jeff Fenster Show’ podcast on Monday, January 8, where he revealed, as per People, “When my ex left me, I went to some soul-searching places.”

He continued, “I actually lived in a halfway house. This is my first time sharing that.”

Moussa also shared why he went to live there after the split.

He said, “I didn’t trust myself to be alone. That’s how bad I was.”

“The reason I ended up there is because I didn’t know where to go and I needed 24-hour care. It was pretty bad because I had lost everything, it felt like, overnight,” Moussa added.

The ‘Flip or Flop’ star also asserted that he wasn’t the “best husband” as he claimed, “I was going through a lot at the time but my actions were not the best.”

Moussa and Hall announced their separation at the end of 2016 via a statement, which read, “Like many couples, we have had challenges in our marriage. During this process, we are committed to our kids and being the best parents we can be.”

“We will continue to work through this process civilly and cooperatively, and plan to continue our professional life together,” it added.

The 42-year-old real estate investor has now written a book, titled ‘LIP YOUR LIFE: How to Find Opportunity in Distress—in Real Estate, Business, and Life’, which will go on stand on February 6.

The memoir will reportedly provide more insight into Moussa’s past issues and struggles, including his addiction to steroids.

Meanwhile, Moussa has been called out online for recent statements made on ‘The Jeff Fenster Show’ podcast.

A Facebook user commented, “He is such a bully the way he spoke to her was crazy he cheated he did wrong not her.”

Another user wrote, “Do the world a favor and keep it to yourself.”

“Never liked him. Chauvinistic man who thinks he’s always right,” the third user remarked.

A person on X tweeted, “for real, you really want people to believe this....how long after you found your now wife...boy please.”

The second person on Facebook added, “I can still see that things are not roses with him and new wife. He seems very angry.”
