Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's son Pax refuses to contact actor after bike crash amid shocking new details
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s son Pax Jolie-Pitt still refuses to speak with his father even after surviving a horrifying electric bike crash, which has left the 'Bullet Train' star feeling helpless.
This comes as reports surfaced that Pitt, 60, is "distraught" and has discreetly blamed his ex-wife Jolie, 49, in the wake of his estranged son Pax's injuries sustained in the electric bike mishap.
Pax, 20, was involved in an accident with a car at a traffic signal on Los Feliz Boulevard on July 29. MEAWW earlier reported that the impact was so strong that onlookers initially thought Pax would not survive.
Brad Pitt says son Pax refuses to contact and 'doesn't want his wishes'after crash
Jolie adopted Pax at the age of three from a Vietnamese orphanage, and he is still close with his mother and his five siblings: Maddox, 23, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16.
According to insiders, Jolie was by Pax's side in the hospital after his injury, where he was said to be in "stable condition." Pitt has been reported to be extremely concerned about the tragedy, although he and his ex-wife Jolie are no longer on speaking terms.
Sources now claimed that although the "heartbroken" Hollywood star is determined to assist in any way he can, Pax "doesn't want any well wishes" from his "distraught dad" Pitt.
An insider exclusively revealed to Daily Mail that Pitt also wishes his family dynamic was not fractured and that he was not receiving "radio silence" treatment over his son's health.
"Don't expect Pax's accident to bring the family dynamic back in any way as Pax is 100% on Angie's side and doesn't want any well wishes or remorse from Brad," the source said.
"Brad is upset that Pax got hurt and would love to help out in any way possible during his recovery, but it doesn't seem to be something that will ever happen since there is a forever disconnect and divide between them all."
The insider added that Pitt has been "gutting" himself because he's not getting enough information regarding Pax.
"It is gutting Brad that it has got to this point that he can't even be a worried dad, as all he is getting is radio silence from finding out exactly what is going down with his son," the source said.
"It is just another distressed circumstance that is part of Brad's normal life," the insider continued.
Given the gravity of the situation, the 'Troy' star wishes everyone to act like mature people, but the tensions between Jolie, Pitt, and Pax are "so bad" that peace might never be achieved.
The source said: "He wishes that everyone could be above it all since this situation involves people's lives, but emotions as they are between Pax, Angie and Brad are so bad that there will never be a time where it gets to a place where things are OK."
"Brad doesn't know what to do because there is nothing he can do or is allowed to do, it is heartbreaking," the source added.
The Oscar-winning actor was reported to be "distraught" by his inability to communicate with his kid after his injury.
"It is very upsetting to Brad whenever he hears of one of the kids being hurt and he feels completely powerless because there is nothing that he can do at all," an insider previously said.
"A father's inclination would be to go to the hospital, or to call him. He's tried so many times but the kids won't take his calls. His hands are tied."
The source added: "Brad doesn't think that Pax should be driving a scooter without a helmet to begin with - he should have been in a car."
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's son Pax eventually taken out of ICU but will require 'long' recovery
Pax Jolie-Pitt, 20, was treated and released from the intensive care unit over the weekend following his July 29 e-bike incident on Los Feliz Boulevard in Los Angeles.
The most recent eyewitness to the collision provided additional depressing information regarding Pax's "complex trauma," which resulted from his failure to wear a helmet at the time of the accident.
Pax was bleeding from his head, said Lola Cavalli, who provided first aid to him at the scene, per Entertainment Tonight.
"And it was not a lot of blood. Like, you didn't see like a fountain of blood rushing out. [But] his mouth was filled with blood. When [he] was trying to speak, I saw a little tiny stream of blood coming out of the mouth," Cavalli said.
According to People, the 20-year-old "suffered complex trauma" and will have a "long road of recovery."
"Pax has been released from the ICU. He suffered complex trauma, and now begins the long road of recovery and physical therapy," the source added.
The insider went on to say that Pax and Angelina "are deeply grateful for the quick and life-saving action of first responders, and the outstanding medical care he received."
The informant claimed that Jolie and her son's siblings "have been visiting and helping," and that Jolie is still spending time with her son. "They are all very close."
A different source stated that Brad Pitt had not made any efforts to see Pax. The source said, "Brad has not tried to see Pax. He has made no effort to do so. Angelina has raised these kids a single mom for the last eight years."
"They love their mother. All Angelina wants is peace, but he is determined to continue fighting her and blaming everyone but himself for the situation he's now in," the second source revealed.
