LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Brad Pitt is “drained” from his lengthy court battle with his ex-Angelina Jolie, but keeps on going because of his desire to maintain healthy relationships with his children.

After the elaborate divorce battle between the ‘Mr and Mrs Smith’ stars unfolded, the estranged couple’s adult children - Maddox, 22, Pax, 20, and Zahara, 19, have ceased to maintain contact with the actor.

A source close to the ‘Troy’ star, however, recently shared that the youngest three still maintain close bonds with the 60-year-old star.

Brad Pitt is ‘drained’ from his fight with Angelina Jolie

The insider recently shared with Life & Style that the former couple’s three youngest children - Shiloh, 17, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 15, are still in contact with Pitt.

The insider shared, "They see him often and they text," before adding, "Shiloh and Knox always had a special bond with him."

The tipster, however, noted that though Vivienne did the same for some time, she has stopped now.

"Viv did, too, for a while," dished the mole before commenting on the family’s dynamics. "But in the past few years, she’s distanced herself — working with Angelina on the play was a huge part of that."

"While Maddox, Pax, Zahara and Vivienne are all adamantly on Team Angie, Shiloh and Knox continue to talk to their dad. The other kids don’t understand their connection to Brad. They try to persuade them to switch sides, and it causes a lot of tension," added the source.

However, the insider shared that Knox is “mini Brad” and loves his father while adding Jolie is reportedly not pleased with the youngest children’s closeness with their father.

The source also claimed that Shiloh has reportedly not paid any attention to the elder siblings' advice to cut off her relationship with their father.

"Brad is happy that they’re standing on their own two feet," shared the insider before adding, "He’s drained from fighting but refuses to give up on the rest of the family, either."

Shiloh reportedly wants to move to Brad Pitt's home

Recently, another source close to the actor shared with InTouch Weekly that Shiloh wants to move to her father’s place when she turns 18.

The source shared, “Shiloh isn’t unhappy at Angelina’s, but she’s turning 18 soon and wants to shake things up. Plus, she adores Brad and has always been daddy’s little girl,” before adding the star “was ecstatic when Shiloh told him the news.”

They added, “Naturally, Angelina wasn’t happy, but she knows Shiloh is a woman now and can make her own decisions.”
