Brad Pitt free to marry girlfriend Ines de Ramon despite not being divorced from ex Angelina Jolie
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Hollywood stars Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been embroiled in their divorce battle for eight long years; however, the 'Fight Club' star has moved on with new girlfriend Ines de Ramon.
Though Jolie and Pitt are not legally separated, the 'Fight Club' actor could still marry his new girlfriend Ramon as their romance heats up, as reported by Fox News.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were officially deemed single in 2019, which means the 'Troy' actor can marry Ramon if he so desires. However, their divorce legal proceedings continue to drag on.
Following their confirmation of their romance in November 2022, Pitt and Ramon attended the July 7 British Grand Prix of Formula One.
Divorce lawyer Kara Chrobak, a shareholder in Buchalter's Denver office, stated, "Being declared legally single in 2019 has the benefit of allowing them to somewhat move on with their lives and at least consider themselves both separate and not married."
Being officially single enables them to both get married again while their divorce is still pending, the lawyer said.
Despite having filed for divorce in 2016 and a judge establishing the former couple's official single status in 2019, Pitt and Jolie haven't been able to work things out.
Certified financial planner Shinobu Hindert told Fox News Digital, "Becoming legally single grants immediate personal independence, freeing individuals from the legal constraints of marriage."
"This allows them to start new relationships or remarry without the complications of still being technically married. It can also be a strategic move, separating personal status from complex asset divisions or custody battles, so each aspect can be addressed independently," Hindert added.
Jolie filed for divorce in September 2016 following a violent argument with her partner on a plane. Although the majority of Pitt and Jolie's divorce paperwork is under seal, legal experts informed Fox News Digital they expect potential roadblocks to the settlement.
According to sources, however, Pitt and Ramon, who is 27 years younger, do not appear to be in a rush with their relationship.
An insider claimed, "Brad and Ines both feel like they’ve met their soulmate," while another added that they are not "pushing for an engagement. They know how serious they are [about each other]; they don’t need rings to prove it."

A judge also ruled that Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan were lawfully single in 2019. Dewan filed for divorce in October 2018, six months after the couple's separation was announced. They share one daughter, Everly.
Dewan became legally single after revealing a month earlier that she was expecting a child with her new lover, Steve Kazee. The 'Shameless' actor proposed to Dewan in 2020 and the couple welcomed a second kid.
The divorce has lasted for over six years, but Dewan was able to move on with Kazee without closing it. Tatum and Dewan appeared to be fixated on the actor's 'Magic Mike' pay.
In February 2021, Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from Kanye West. While their divorce was ongoing, a court in March 2022 ruled that the reality TV star was legally single.
While going through a divorce with West, Kardashian dated Pete Davidson. The couple's divorce was finalized by the end of 2022 and they decided to share custody of their four children.
According to court records, Kelly Clarkson requested that a judge declare her legally single in 2021, stating that she and her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock "both deserve the opportunity to build a new life."
