Alongside drivers like Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen in the paddock, the A-list actor was spotted filming sequences for his new sports action thriller, which is aptly named 'F1', per Daily Mail.

While Pitt and his co-stars were found filming the Joseph Kosinski-directed movie at several races over the past year, several F1 fans took offense on Saturday, July 6, afternoon.

The Oscar winner, 60, was spotted entering the media pen following his qualification for an "interview" alongside real reporters.

Fernando Alonso of Aston Martin appeared puzzled as the Hollywood star made his way toward the journalists, suggesting that not even the drivers were impressed by the sighting.

One X (formerly Twitter) posted a clip from the post-race interviews and wrote: "Fernando's face watching brad pitt has me"

Many fans objected to the fact that Pitt was standing next to Lando Norris from McLaren as he was talking about his challenging qualifying session.

Formula 1 fans made fun of how ridiculous the whole thing was as soon as footage of Pitt and co-star Idris stepping in behind Norris went viral.

Another X user wrote, "Bro having the worst day of his life and there's Brad Pitt," alongside an image of Norris' post race interview.

The first teaser video for Brad Pitt's Formula 1 racing car in his upcoming film 'F1' was released during the Formula 1 British Grand Prix on Sunday, July 7, which the Hollywood icon attended with his girlfriend Ines de Ramon.

Filming is expected to proceed until the end of this year, with participation from all ten Formula One teams, drivers, the Federation Internationale de l'Automobile, and event organizers.

Javier Bardem, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, Kim Bodnia, Sarah Niles, Samson Kayo, and Callie Cooke are among the other cast members.

According to the film's synopsis, the 'Legends of the Fall' actor plays a former driver who rejoins Formula 1 at APXGP, a made-up team on the grid, per Daily Mail.

Together with actor Damson Idris, who portrays Joshua Pearce, Pitt's teammate, they "compete against the titans of the sport".
