Brad Pitt's girlfriend Ines de Ramon 'saved him from spiraling' amid ongoing kids drama, claims source
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: According to sources, Brad Pitt's girlfriend Ines de Ramon has been a pillar of strength for the Hollywood icon amid ongoing conflict with his children.
The jewelry designer reportedly offered the 60-year-old 'Troy' actor a shoulder to mourn when his connections with his children collapsed, per OK! Magazine.
Ines de Ramon has been Brad Pitt's 'rock' and 'saved him from spiraling over his kids'
Brad Pitt and Ines de Ramon’s love affair has been growing strong since their first sighting at a Bono concert in November 2022. The pair also made an appearance at the British Grand Prix on July 7, holding hands.
Speaking with Life & Style magazine, an insider revealed that the brunette beauty, who split from her ex-husband Paul Wesley in 2022, "has been his rock. She’s saved him from spiraling over his kids."
Pitt is determined to repair his differences with his six children from his marriage to ex-wife Angelina Jolie, even though they are currently estranged.
The source further claimed that despite the ongoing conflict with his children, the 'Troy' actor still wants a child with Ines.
"Brad’s also looking forward to starting a family with Ines," the source said, adding that a child would be "an opportunity for him to truly move forward and apply everything he’s learned about himself and life during the traumatic past few years."
"He’s starting over, and he couldn’t be happier. He believes in his heart that this marriage will be different," the source concluded.
Brad Pitt largely estranged from his and ex-wife Angelina Jolie's six children
Another insider earlier revealed that although Brad Pitt does not communicate much with his elder children, he retains visitation privileges with his younger kids, Shiloh, 18, and the 15-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox, per OK! Magazine.
"He has virtually no contact with the adult kids," the source revealed, referring to Maddox, 22, Pax, 20, and Zahara, 19.
The source said of Pitt, 60, who has been busy filming 'F1', "His engagement with the younger kids is more limited in recent months because of his filming schedule."
"[Angelina] has the kids most of the time, but per their agreement, he has visitation with the younger kids," the insider added.
The revelation was made as it came to light that a few of the Hollywood icon's children have omitted the "Pitt" from their hyphenated surnames.
It was reported in May that Vivienne used the stage name Vivienne Jolie when she appeared on the bill for the Broadway production of 'The Outsiders', which she co-wrote with her 49-year-old mother.
Unexpectedly, Shiloh employed a lawyer around the same time to change her name from her hyphenated "Jolie-Pitt" to Shiloh Jolie on her 18th birthday, to the utter dismay of the Oscar-winning actor.
The kids' decision was "heartbreaking" for the Hollywood star, according to another insider: "The implication is that they want nothing to do with Brad."
One source claimed at the time that the 'Fight Club' actor believes his ex-wife, Jolie, was involved because she might have urged their children to avoid spending time with him.
The source revealed, "He’s tried to rebuild relationships with all his children, and will continue to try. He hopes things will change over time when the kids are not so heavily influenced by Angelina."
