NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: On December 18, former South Carolina governor and GOP candidate Nikki Haley shared a campaign ad against President Joe Biden and wrote “I'll just say it: Joe Biden is old.”

As Haley took a dig at the President’s age, ‘The View’ host Sunny Hostin responded to the GOP candidate in a post on X, formerly Twitter. Hostin also mentioned Haley’s recent comment on the Civil War, and the exclusion of slavery in her remarks, for which she has faced severe backlash online.

While Hostin addressed Haley’s remarks on Biden’s age, the focus remained on the GOP candidate’s recent debacle that has now gone viral.

Sunny Hostin praises Joe Biden on social media

On X, ‘The View’ host Sunny Hostin wrote, “Hmmm. As I recall, @NikkiHaley accused @donlemon of being ageist. Yet somehow Joe Biden is too old to be President.”

She continued, “At least @JoeBiden knows the Civil War was about slavery. I like Presidents who know and accept history - the first time they are asked. @kaitlancollins.”

With this, Hostin also shared a clip of Nikki Haley’s campaign ad against President Joe Biden, where the GOP candidate wrote, “I'll just say it: Joe Biden is old. It's time for a new generational conservative leader. It's time to leave the chaos and drama of the past behind.”

Only an hour before this post, Hostin also posted a clip by CNN’s Kaitlin Collins as the anchor shared a clip of Haley re-addressing her remarks on the Civil War, emphasizing, “Of course the Civil War was about slavery.”

To this video shared by Collins, Hostin responded, “Well that's not what you said @NikkiHaley. And in 2010, during an interview w/neo-Confederates, you avoided saying the Civil War was fought over slavery & instead implied the South was “fighting for tradition” while the Union was “fighting for change.” I see a pattern....”
