The settlement comes after Asghari filed for divorce in August 2023, ending their 14 months of marriage, according to People.

The estranged couple abided by the terms of their prenuptial agreement and the legal documents now await the approval of a judge to finalize their split.
"The divorce was amicable and the prenup was not challenged. Britney is continuing to flex her freedom and is moving on," a source told the outlet.
Denying reports of the Spears paying Asghari's rent or lease, the source said, "The report that she is in financial distress is false and she is not on any lease for him."

In his first public statement since the divorce filing in August 2023, Asghari spoke out about his separation from the pop singer.
"After six years of love and commitment to each other my wife and I have decided to end our journey together. We will hold onto the love and respect we have for each other and I wish her the best always," he wrote on his Instagram Story.

An insider shared at the time that Spears was still "in great spirits despite everything going on," according to People.
“Obviously, it's never an easy thing to go through, but she’s remaining positive and focusing on the future," the source added.
As per the court filing, the date of separation has been listed as July 28, 2023, and the actor cited irreconcilable differences as their reason for the divorce.
Sam Asghari says his time with Britney Spears was a 'blessing'
Asghari who tied the knot with Spears in June 2022 in a Los Angeles ceremony opened up about his time with the singer.
“It was a blessing to be able to share life with someone for a long time. And people grow apart and people move on,” he said months after their split.
"I've always hated people leaving a certain relationship — and at some point, they told each other they love each other and they sat at the same table and ate food [together] — so I never understood when people part ways [and] they talk badly about each other," he continued.
"That's something I'm never going to do because I had nothing but an amazing experience and a great life, and that's always going to be part of my life, a chapter of my life," Asghari added.
