Britney Spears says her struggles might 'offend' people in bold post
Britney Spears—who got out from her 13-year conservatorship in 2021—said in a previous post that she wished to be more transparent about her challenges but she's afraid her words might be "too offensive" to post online.
The 'Baby One More Time' hitmaker hinted that she is trying to deal with some personal issues in a lengthy statement. She wrote, "Nothing is what it seems sometimes!!! I portray that everything is completely perfect but trust me I've been through it as well and I would share those struggles but they are too offensive to share."
"It could make other people extremely sad and honestly there's not a damn thing I can do about it so just know my life is not as perfect as it seems," she continued.
Without mentioning her struggles, the singer wrote, "And remember my beautiful friends you're not alone."
Britney Spears 'excited' about prospect of writing second book
Following the release of her bombshell memoir titled 'The Woman in Me' on October 24, 2023, all eyes were on Britney and her plans. Fortunately for fans, it appears that the 'Criminal' singer is already considering her next endeavor -- a second book.
"Britney is already excited at the possibility of a second book. Writing this one has been so freeing for her and a great experience, she’s eager to do it again," a source told US Weekly.
The insider claimed that the book's publisher, Simon & Schuster, has already committed to round two. "Her pre-sales have been gigantic," the source said.
"A second book feels like a win/win for her," the insider told the magazine, citing 'The Woman in Me's emotional and financial benefits.
Spears had earlier defended her memoir, stating that she has "moved on" from the majority of the stories in the book, which were "from 20 years ago."
