LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Britney Spears has no intention of reconciling with her father.

Britney Spears' desire to patch things up with her father is untrue
Multiple sources close to the pop star told PageSix that the reports claiming that Britney, 42, has expressed her desire to patch things up with her father are untrue.
TMZ reported on Tuesday, December 5, that sources claimed Britney “misses” Jamie, 71, and has even thought about sending him money at times to help him out.
However, this seems highly improbable, given the ongoing legal battle between the father and daughter over the alleged mishandling of her finances under her conservatorship.
Britney wrote in her bestselling memoir 'The Woman in Me' that she resented the fact her father appeared to see her “as put on the earth for no other reason than to help their cash flow.”
Britney Spears will never forgive her father for the 'trauma' he caused her
The publication reported that the singer will “never forgive him for the abuses and trauma he caused.”
In her book, Britney also accused Jamie of “repeatedly” telling her she looked fat and allegedly restricting her diet to chicken and canned vegetables for two years.
Britney Spears blames her father Jamie Spears for forcing her into rehab
She also blasted her “horrible” father for forcing her into rehab in 2014 with “crack and heroin addicts.” She even compared Jamie to a cult leader, claiming her family began to treat her at one point as if she were “beholden to him.”
Before the book’s release on October 24, Spears would also vent her frustrations online. In November 2022, Britney wrote on Instagram that she wanted to send a “special happy f**k you” to Jamie because “not being a part of [his] slave treatment program” had changed her life.
The 'Gimme More' singer first spoke out about her father’s alleged abuse in a shocking court testimony in June 2021 that ultimately helped end her conservatorship. “The book and her posts about detesting her father speak for themselves,” an insider told PageSix.

Sources further told the publication that Britney’s recent birthday celebration with her mother Lynne Spears is not any indication of the future holds with her father as even a full reconciliation with Lynne is “a process.”
